First day of competition

Sam's POV

Today was the first day for our competition , it's was based on theoretical knowledge of us . There will be seven hundred questions and one hours to complete .

The exam was at ten in the morning and it was six currently . I decided to go back to my team's room . It was just at a distance of thirty minutes, I went there and knock on the door as I can't enter without key they had. Jenny opened the door and I wished her good morning and went in , seeing the messed room.

I asked all of them " Are you ready?" ,to which a lazy and half dazed sound came from bathroom " can't we enjoy a bit more ?" , it was Karl who else would ,from his eyes I can tell he was still sleepy .

After three and half hour later we all are sitting inside our respective rooms , I was sitting at the last bench of last row , having a outside view of window , the instructor inside the room was telling some instructions which I was just hearing because most of the rules I already knew .

After half an hour the exam started,it was a multiple choice questions, English was the section I chose first taking almost ten minutes to complete after that I take care of physics , chemistry and accountancy in twenty five minutes , after that politics and history just took my ten more minutes and after that was business studies which depends upon usage of your brain , one question was " Symbol used to represent Thursday in business organizations, answer was R which is quite easy for me but not for everyone it took me ten minutes to complete it . I was waiting for the time to get over so as a time pass I took a glanced around the students near me from the corner of my eyes ,most of the students has just completed nearly 200 questions or so which was quite normal .

After 5 minutes our sheets were taken and we left the room , from the room succeeding mine came my friends their faces were dull like everyone of our school on the other hand our competitors have smile as they all were used to all of this , without asking anything we all went to our room .

For two hours we were waiting for the results ,as the result came there was an announcement made by boxes in the room " For your results gather in the hall" .

We all went there with everyone , our school students were together with our seniors ahead of us with smiles on their faces and the students of school of Perfection in a more arranged manner with calm looks on their faces .

Anna came in with our teachers and stand in front of a big screen ,she held a mic and said " Your results will be out in few seconds on the screen ,your answers are fairly checked in presence of your teachers" .

The big screen lit up and different names were shown there when everyone was looking at the bottom of lists me and someone else was looking at the top ,as I saw the names a smile curved my lips ,the result was

and so on the marks went ahead .

Everyone in the room was surprised at my result , my school students and teachers who don't know anything about me were in shock , on the other hand our competitors were looking like they already know this was going to happen , Anna still had a smile on her face which put some thoughts in my mind " surely a trick , to put me at ease " .

I left the hall with my team and went to our teams room .
