The dark cloud looms
In its host it sits
Growing
Building up
Crushing
The mind
Growing
Precipitating
Its pressure rising
The vessel straining
The dwellers paining
The vessel is priceless
Meant to be untouched
But for relief
That is ignored
It needs to be set free
To relieve the pressure
A razor is drawn
It grazes the exterior
Liquid gushes
And forgotten
the cloud thins
Over, and over
The cloud is thinned
By thinning the vessel lining
By releasing fluid
Each scratch deeper than the last
The damage is permanent
But the cloud
Is thicker
Than before
The vessel fragile
One badly aimed scratch
In the wrong place
Breaks through
Like a floodgate open
Life gushes forth
The spirit drained of the vessel
All in an effort
To thin a cloud
