The light in the darkness

I lived in the dark

In a void of emptiness

Light was last seen so long ago

That its memory is gone

Its existence doubted

What seemed like flashes

Were just permeations of the darkness

A mirage in an emotional dessert

The darkness thickens

The appariton dissapates

The end is near

The darkness thickening

Ghosts flit through indifferently

Finding a corner in the dark I hide

Preparing for the end

A new presence reaches in

A flickering phantasm

It fills my vision

Extends a hand

I take it

The flicker becomes a hum

The hum becomes a buzz

The buzz becomes a glow

The darkness thins

My vision clears
