In spite of Jenny's much protest and heated demanding agitations at Ray's decision to scrap the post mortem, Jenny was cuffed and led to a glossy black Jeep with tinted screens, ostensibly for to have a private interrogative session.

''Ms Lawrence, you need to cooperate with the police force to get to the root of this. You have a murder case at hand, and it's sensitive; hence, a private interrogation session is recommended,'' Ray had warned Jenny, giving her reasons to maintain a calm disposition.

The Jeep sped southward towards the shores of the island. Along the journey, Jenny's mind wandered and struggled to piece some puzzle together. She knew there was something shady about Ray, and he could not be trusted completely. His sudden appearance on the scene back in her condo disrupted the transparency of the cops' forensic investigation. He's most likely one of Tega's puppets in the public space, she thought.
