1 Who am I? Introduction

My name is Melody. My life has always been a mystery. I haven't been outside since I was 8 years old. I never knew why, but my mom always told me, 'When your time comes, you will shine bright as a million stars colliding into one. When I was 7, my dad gave me a necklace. He told me to keep it forever until the time comes. He died a year later, my mother never speaks of it so I have no idea how or where he died.
