Looking up, Alex wondered for a minute where he was as the memories of last night returned. After gaining the rewards of the quest they spend most of their money on buying Ale for the adventures around. Alex ended up with Lisa in the middle of the party.

"Enjoy the little things huh." he laughed a little with someone sleeping on his chest. He smiled and stood up opening the window for the sunshine's brilliant light to shine upon him. 

"Good morning." Lisa woke up with a wide smile, which Alex responded to.

"I have to go, I see you later," he said wearing his clothes.

"Don't you want to stay just a little bit," she said in a seducing tone.

Alex laughed a little and replied "It's tempting but, no." she pouted as he wore his clothes and departed.

In a location unknown inside the city

A black-haired man in his 20s stared at a man with a huge figure eating his food with another one across the table clouded in darkness. "Have you finished what the boss sent you to do?" The man named Blood Vein opened his eyes and crimson red eyes showed.

The young man seemed to be staring at death itself and couldn't breathe for a moment. The terror those eyes gave even made the man-eating laugh a bit "What happened."

He didn't answer but roughly said something that picked his interest, "The person who killed your guys, I found him." his words stopped the man from eating. "But for the information, I don't want the money anymore but your manpower and influence over this city," he said

"What do you want," he asked his head rising and the figure of a man with a scar on his face. blue eyes and light brown hair showed with a beard that made his already masculine visage even more. But the rage in his eyes showed because of his pride wounded and status damaged by that person.

"Simple, the kid is back in this city find him, and the information will be yours." He answered.

"First the information before anything else, Blood Vein." his aura was released.

"Zen watch your next words carefully and remove your bloodlust before I kill you. I am in a bad mood so don't Test me." His voice sounded demonic ringing out shaking the ground and cracks started appearing. "You know what you must do."

Sighing he said, "Okay then, where to start." 

"If the guild leader of the guild is involved then just notify me because I lost her sent at that location." He explained and sighed "Find that bitch and bring her alive. Also, the boy should be with her and you can take the credit." After those words, the smile that appeared on Zen's face was something to behold.

Blood Vein held around disappeared, leaving the dinner table quiet for some moment and Zen voiced out "Tell Ethan and wait for his response."

The young man behind nodded and disappeared into thin air. The man continued with his meal like nothing happened his interest in the person who endangered his status washed away slowly. 

Middle of town

A man was walking around the shopping area holding the hand of a little girl. "Today Amber we are going to buy anything that you want but before that let's find you something to wear." he smiled, enjoying the calming day and also preparing every he needed before buying.

He got a lot of attention wherever he went as his devilish handsome figure long with him seeming like a father made every eye look their way seeing them as rich nobles or merchants. So, of which was unwanted attention the like as some people just looked in his direction, "Hey, isn't that the fox girl we threw away." one inquired to find her familiar.

"Yey, you're right but who's beside her." they saw them entering one of the most expensive stores around and they stared at each other with a smile. As time passed Alex had some people holding a ton of items which were mostly for Amber.

Alex wants her to forget about her past a little. Alex smiled seeing her happy face her eyes wandering everywhere. Because of the increase in difficulty of the quest he took along with the amount he saved, Alex was a little bit rich but now his almost broke.

But that didn't even cross his mind, but sensing something he threw a gold coin to the man behind "Go with her for a moment I just have to check on something." the people nodded and said

"Okay sir it will be our pleasure," they answered.

{Monarch's Curse activated.}

He disappeared into an alleyway that wasn't far away and kept Amber in his range of soul sense. With his soul energy increasing alongside his soul sense range with each 10 % increase in his foundation his range is now much larger. [Master I found her, she is in bad condition. But Mister Malcolm is treating her wounds and he also has seemed to have noticed me.] she answered.

Not shocked that much he responded, "Okay I'll be ...." For a second Alex thought he sensed wrongly but Amber just disappeared from his range.

[Master.] She tried to ask him but no response came as Alex had already started moving.

"Come to me Ava." his commanding tone rang out and without asking much she started shadow-linking toward him.

Moving at lightning-like speed he reached close by a store and found the people he hired looking around. "Where is she." A voice that can't be ignored ringed out in the whole store bringing even more attention to him.

"Sir we don't know..." His neck was being crushed without the man even moving from his position.

[King's aura activated.]

His great anger activated a skill that caused great panic around him with no soul escaping. "A..." he tried to speak with everyone on the ground some who even coughed out blood. "N..o...t...e," he said. He was pointing to the floor where she once was.

[King's aura deactivated]

He let the man go as he started to breathe, taking the note he said "Explain." many showed fearful faces, and everyone close by started explaining their side of the story and what they saw.
