What lies beyond the gate

The next day has usual I was the first to wake up so I made breakfast and teleported to the top of the clouds and relaxed there sipping on some coffee watching the sun rising on the horizon , this had become a habit of mine ever since I came with Mione. In here everything was silence and there was only the winds to keep me company and I this brought me a sense of relaxation in mind , body and soul , I could just create a loop but it would ruin it so I prefered to wait to see it because it was totally worth it.

After 2 hours the sun finally rose fully so I drank a bit more of coffee and teleported home to have breakfast with the family and it was very enjoyable , after that Salem went out with Harry to get the necessary stuff needed for the second year and I told her to take Mione with her , after she nodded and left I washed the dishes and after a relaxing bath I got dressed and this time instead of teleporting I decided to see how fast I had gotten but instead of flying there I decided to run but before I could even reach mach 5 I had reached the location and this surprised me because the I thought that it would at least take some more to reach the location.

In the way I had to kind of simulate the speed force using magic , that meant I had to create a shield to protect me from small things and use magic to nullify the impact it would have caused if I ran at that speed normally but nonetheless it was an enjoyable experience and this made me contemplate again on the idea of creating my own speed force but I decided to keep that for later since I stopped right in front of the guardian but and after seeing me just appear there it didn't even have any reaction and I heard it say <It seems you achieved godhood and skipped a few steps with the help of that energy> but I said to him <No I reached godhood then took that energy to boost my rank.

So now am I qualified to know about this gate and the world?> and the Guardian looked at me and said <Indeed , you are>. After getting my confirmation I said <Well then let's start by what lies beyond this gate you guard> and after a bit the Guardian said <Beyond this gate lies a great evil , this creature wishes to destroy the world and all the life in it> it said and after hearing it I was a but surprised but decided to not interrupt it.

<This creature at first was deemed unworthy of our attention , but that was because it lied in deep slumber. But it was awoken by the actions of once a wise man who attempted to study it in search of power , when awoken this creature started corrupting the world and when we finally noticed it's presence it had already left a deep mark in this world. After we saw the destruction it was creating we decided to eliminate it but it had already grown powerful and from it's darkness creatures of massive destruction were born , but we managed to seal it at the cost of the life of our creator.

I being the last one was tasked with the protection of this gate but seeing that I couldn't guard the gate and at the same time deal with the creature born from it's darkness with his dying will our creator gave this world the ability to generate what the humans call magic. With the assistance of magic the humans would protect the world> I didn't ask for all the story but it had made it clear , the creature was probably the same I was tasked with destroying and knowing that even a god died to it knew just how dangerous it was so I had to get even stronger fast.

While I was thinking I didn't interrupt the story time and let the Guardian continue and what he said next surprised me a bit but it explained why he waited for so long to order the creation of the Foundation <With my years of guarding the gate and watching humanity evolving I saw that if I interfered it would probably repeat the same mistake and this time I was alone to deal with the creature so I choose to wait until humanity was advanced enough and had shackled itself to their own morals , then I tried my chance and this proved to be the most effective method>.

It was a bit twisted but I had to admit that it was right , humanity tends to shackled themselves in rules created by them and this applied even to me at some times so I said <Indeed it was the best move , there are still some issues but still I don't get why you ordered them to prepare and not to destroy> and the Guardian said <I ordered them to prepare for it seemed that with time some of the creatures were influenced by magic and decided to stay out of the impending conflict , one of examples rests in the ring you carry and this one seems to have been recently created but it is nonetheless one of them>.

This surprised me greatly since the Guardian seemed to have emotions and apparently they affected it a lot but that was due since it had been in contact with Humanity and for longs periods of time so it was normal that it was affected by us. Another thing that caught my attention was how he spoke of little Lia , I had an idea why he so I decided to ask it <What do you mean recently created? Aren't these creatures born from the dark energies of the great evil? So how can they have been born recently if it's sealed?> and it answered my questions <These creatures might have been born from it's energies but that doesn't mean they are totally immortal.

They indeed have long lifespans but they aren't immortal so. But it is beyond my knowledge in the way they reproduce but it is indeed a fact that can't be ignored because I have noticed that the more time they reproduce they become more influence by the magic of our almighty creator and less influenced by the dark energies. And with time some of the creatures became totally magical , they are deemed as magic beasts now by humanity , but some are unchanged by time and others are just soulless so I tasked the humans with the job to prepare for them> I noticed the Guardian seemed to become more relaxed as it was speaking , but I didn't bother to think much about it and just listened and analyzed it's words.

According to it the creatures that were born from the dark energies of the sin creature were being changed or influenced by the magic in this world and apparently magical beasts were in fact those creatures so this makes the sin creature basically the father of all the magical beasts and this surprised me since apparently this creature had made itself an important part of this world , so this means that there might be worlds that basically changed due to it's existence. This made me shiver because I apparently wasn't really seeing the danger this thing posed to all the worlds it was in and now I understood why it was a priority to destroy it before it destroyed us all. It was a shame Rohan couldn't just destroy it but it is what it is.

After I saw that the Guardian was done with his story I asked him <This creature , is it still awake inside the garden? And for how long can you keep protecting this gate?> it was silent for a bit before it's head lifted and gazed into the gate and I followed it's gaze and saw dark eyes looking directly at me and I recognized this eyes , they were the same that attacked me. The creature kept looking at me and I saw it smile , this sent shivers down my spine and the Guardian looked at me and I heard it say <It seems to have awaken due to your presence , have you perhaps crossed paths with it> the Guardian asked and I could see it was preparing to strike me if I made any wrong move so I said <No I have not but the person that gave me my powers died by it's hands so it might recognize me because of that>.

After I finished speaking the Guardian visibly relaxed and the fire of his sword that had become violent calmed down and it said <I see , that is unfortunate indeed> and after saying that the creature disappeared into the scenery behind the gate and the guardian returned to it's previous position before saying <I have answered all your questions otherworlder> and then it was silence , I started thinking for a bit and decided to try something <Guardian I have a request> and I said <I shall listen then> , <I want to ask if it is possible for you to allow me into the garden> and I heard it say <You are too weak to try to fight against it , come back when you are able to defeat me and then you will be allowed to go into the garden and hopefully finally free this world of this great evil>.
