The Cave

When they got off the flying sword and in the cave, the Sect leader produced fire in his hand and threw it onto 4 torches dividing the flames as it went. With all 3 of them in a cave he knew they were wondering where they were and why they were here. Knowing this the Sect leader took them down a stairway and led them to a huge room with books on shelfs, a hot spring, and two mats.

The Sect leader than explained to them that they were in a place he created 2 years ago as he knew he would be taking disciples very very soon. He he explained to them that the amount of things in this cave were all Immortal Grade Martial arts or Cultivation Techniques. He took the two and sat them down telling them to start cultivating with a basic technique he put into their heads using a secret technique to instantly let someone know amounts of knowledge in seconds.

After receiving instructions from their new master they knew they were in no harm. Lin Fan asked "How long will we be here?", Yang Kai added in "Is this what they call secluded cultivation?". Their Master responded with "You will be here until you reach Qi Transformation realm, and this is what they call secluded cultivation. One goes into secluded cultivation for mainly one reason, that reason is to raise their cultivation and break through one or even two realms at a time.". He also explained to them that their spirits allowed them to cultivate 5x faster than the normal human. He also told them once they made it to Qi Transformation realm, they would be taken out of hands and tossed into the outer courts to proceed like everyone else. He explained to them the advantage they had though, as he explained they had as much time as they liked and he would bring them every day necessities.

Lin Fan already knew that he was going to take advantage of the Immortal grade books and learn two or three Cultivation Techniques while he was here along with 3 or 4 Martial Arts. His master said that he wanted them out by the time the next batch of outer court disciples arrived and had finished testing which would be in just 2 months. Over the next two hours he explained to them the difference in the 4 main ranks, Outer disciples being the weakest disciples and mostly people who have been cultivating for less than a year, Inner disciples they were fairly strong and could take 4 or 5 outer disciples on at one time and still succeed with ease, Core disciples the core disciples could take 4 inner disciples on with ease and wipe out 20 outer disciples with the movement of a hand most of them having 2-3 years of cultivation, and finally the main disciple this disciple was hand picked by the sect leader and had the choice to become their disciple and most likely in the future the leader of the sect.

He then explained the library to them, they currently had 4 floors. He explained the first floor consisted of mostly earth techniques and a few heaven techniques but the heaven techniques were often checked out immediately and very hard to find on the first floor. The second floor, consisted of only heaven techniques and quite a bit of Immortal techniques. The third floor, consisted of high Immortal techniques along with some Planet Tier Techniques. The fourth floor, this consisted of a select amount of planet tier techniques and one celestial tier technique for cultivation. He explained that everyone had 30 minutes in the library or else they would be kicked out. He also explained that outer disciples could only enter the first floor and the top outer disciples could go on the second floor. The Inner disciples could enter the second floor and some parts of the third floor. The Core and Main disciples could enter all 4 floors plus they had an hour instead of 30 minutes.

Lin Fan and Yang Kai quickly realized that the cultivation world was based off of a power hierarchy meaning only the powerful made decisions and were favored, while the weak were disposed of and trampled on like ants. Knowing this Lin Fan vowed to become the strongest and not stop until he reach his goal of becoming the top cultivator of his family.
