Lin Fan

Lin Fan could often be seen being made fun of walking through the halls of his school, he was notoriously known for his bad grades and behavior. Lin Fan had one friend and no one else, everyone would constantly talk shit about him saying he was a disgrace to his families name and that he would never become anything in life.

Later in class that day, "Lin Fan, LIN FAN! Wake up what's the answer to number twenty-two his teacher asked.", Lin Fan who had recently lost his grandfather and parents had a lot on his mind lately. The entire class laughed at Lin Fan when he stayed silent, the teacher walked over to him and slapped him in the face shouting at him "WAKE UP LIN FAN, your a disgrace to your families name you'll never to turn out to be anything.".

Ten minutes later the bell to get out of school had rang. With his parents dying and his friend being exiled from his parents house he was destined for failure. Granted his parents had left him a large chunk of money for when they died but he had no use for the money except for paying rent and food. After school him and his only friend Yang Kai went to go visit his mother, fathers, and grandparents grave after school.

When his grandfather had left for the their trip, he had given Lin Fan a ring and said wear this at all times, who knows maybe it will bring you luck his grandfather said as he was leaving and winked at him. Those were the last memories of his parents and grandparents before their horrifying death on a plane crash.

With this ring he went to bed and suddenly he felt the world start to collapse in on him like he was in a nightmare. When he looked around everything was the same he had the same clothes on, he pinched himself to make sure he was still alive. He decided to go to bed as he had school again early the next day and needed to get up and cook breakfast as it was his day to while Yang Kai slept in.

With him falling fast asleep, when he got up he had cooked eggs and sausage before waking Yang Kai up. To his surprise Yang Kai was up already, heading out when he went to go wake him up. They both quickly got ready and headed off for school, everything seemed normal until Lin Fan had gone outside...suddenly he freaked and saw that people were flying in the air and everyone looked like in the ancient times. Now that he saw what they were wearing he looked down at himself and Yan Kai and noticed he had the same clothes similar to everyone else along with Yang Kai.

Lin Fan had read and watched about this type of stuff in Mahaus and Donhuas, and got quite interested in the genre, although he had never imagined that it would actually happen to him. With that he decided to head off to school, he was surprisingly still known as a looser who had horrible grades in school in this world also.

He decided to talk to Yang Kai for awhile before class, Yang Kai had also mentioned how they were going to awaken their spirit beasts and see what element types they were going to be cultivating on the journey through life. To Lin Fans surprise, this world was similar but also way different from the world he was used to. There were alchemy stores, auction house, and even martial arts academies. He decided from here on he would set out to become one of the top cultivators in this world to be able to protect his friends and loved ones to keep them by his side for the rest of his life.
