FATHER'S PLEAD

Inside the envelope was a photograph it was of me and my father, taken when I was a child. My father looked different in the photo than I remembered him, he was smiling his eyes full of love and pride, o didn't recognize the person in the photo as the man I had grown up knowing.

As I looked at the photo I realized that I had never really know my father at all.

I read the letter that was attached to the photo, in it my father told me the truth about his past. He had been a member of a mafia gang one that been shrouded in mystery for centuries. He had kept this secret from me my entire life, but now he was ready to tell me everything, turns out my dad had been a leader of a mafia gang, a dangerous mafia gang called the ' Blood Brotherhood ' I couldn't believe what I was reading but as I continued I began to understand, my father had been trying to protect me turns out that as the daughter of the leader of the Blood Brotherhood my father's enemies are always after me but I never knew my father had been protecting me but now he needed my help.

Amelia reads the letter, het hands shaking, 'My dearest Amelia " it begins ' I'm sorry to have to write to you like this, but I'm in trouble and I need your help. I know I haven't been the best father but I'm hoping you can forgive me and help me, please meet me at the park bench where we used to sit when you were little. I hope you'll come.

Love Dad".

Amelia feels a mix of emotions: confusion, anger and sadness

The next day Amelia goes to the park, feeling nervous and unsure, she finds the bench and seed him sitting there, waiting for her. He looks older and more worn than she remembers. 'Hi dad, she says, her voice quavering. "It's been a long time. Her father looks up at her and for a moment she sees a flicker of recognition in his eyes. "Amelia ', he called his voice soft. " I'm glad you're here's. He reaches out and takes her hand and for a moment Amelia feels a rush of emotions but then her father's grip tighten on her hand. " I need your help" he says his voice low and urgent. " There are some dangerous people after me and I need you to do something for me." Amelia feels a chill run through her body. "What do you want? She asked her voice trembling.

Her father leans closers and whispers something in her ears. She feels her heart racing as she realized what he's asking her to do.
