OLD FRIENDS.........?

"Wait, are you saying like you have some friends here in the human realm ?." Dan didn't say anything and just went on and I quickly trotted behind. l was beginning to see much part of the human world which seems much more beautiful as we quickly arrived at a beautiful townsquare . Dan wasn't stopping at all and walking really fast but I really wanted to stay and enjoy the beautiful music that some performers was playing on the road. " Dan , I called " Can we stop by and grab some food, I'm really hungry . He looked back and muttered ' okay ' as we head into a restaurant where all varieties and delicacies of food was displayed. Dan went to the counter and ordered two plates of roasted steak and some refreshments. We quickly settled down to eat when some group of huge looking men entered into the restaurant. You could see the fear that was building up in the face of all the people inside the restaurant especially the man who owns the restaurant as soon as they saw this men.

"Do you by chance know these guys ?" I asked Dan who was munching happily on the plates of steak in front of him. " One of the biggest influences around here, The Serpent Gang. They extract money from everyone that is trading around here. Well, the people can't complain because standing up to them meant instant death so they had no choice." Dan said.

Immediately, the restaurant owner started rummaging through his wallet and brought out bundles of cash and gave it to the huge man standing in front of him. The man collected the money with a smirk on his face and said " This is not up to what we collected last time." and he signalled to one of the men that came with him. The man that was summoned came in front of the shop owner and landed a hard punch in his stomach. The man instantly coughed out blood from his mouth and fell on the floor. The man threw another punch at him and the shopkeeper closed his eyes to breathe his last but nothing happened to him. He opened his eyes to see a young lady standing in front of him and also the man who wanted to hit him groaning in pain on the floor. " I heard you guys like to extort money from people that has worked so hard to make money. To me, that doesn't seem good enough so I want everything to stop now." Freya said with her piercing eyes darting around the shop. The leader of the men was thrown into uncontrollable fits of laughter along with his accomplices. " So what are you going to do about it ?" He said amidst laughter and Freya answered " I'm going to do a lot much worse".
