Several women in the same outfits can be seen surrounding a single woman. They were moving with such precision, control, and seriousness you would think they were machines instead. This coordination would not have been possible under normal circumstances, since they were all elites even among the best doctors in the world. Yes, not one doctor and some assistant helpers, but all doctors. 

Normally their pride won't allow them to work as mere assistants, but things were anything but normal. Their client had the power to bury them and their entire ancestry alive in broad daylight. They were called to assist, monitor, and prevent any mishaps during their client's childbirth. 

Their client was "Emilia Storm", the head representative of the largest country in the world. They were working for quite some time already making pre-arrangements, rechecking all the equipment, etc.

It was finally the time, and they started the procedures. 

[1:40:16 PM]

"Just a little more mam" Said the woman monitoring the vitals.

[1:43:04 PM]

"You're almost there, hang on!" Exclaimed the doctor keeping track of contractions.

Silence

The baby was born. 

*pat*

Everyone was looking at the baby expecting her to cry, but the baby just clumsily opened its eyes and...

*yawn*

Yes, the baby was born alive and healthy.

"Can I hold her?" Asked Emilia unable to wait anymore.

The doctors wrapped up the rest of the procedures and gave her the baby carefully.

Emilia took the baby in her arms tenderly and finally had a good look at her baby. She didn't say anything but her eyes spoke enough. The warmth and love she felt could not be expressed in words even if she tried her best. 

Although she was worried at first since her precious baby didn't cry like normal children, the doctors assured her that the child was healthy and had to check for any complications multiple times before she finally relaxed. 

"Let me hold her too!" A woman said excitedly as she entered the room. She was waiting outside the room since she wasn't allowed to go inside and so was praying for her friend's safety. So she barged in as soon as the doctors gave her permission.

"No." Her request was shot down instantly.

"You can hold her once she's home Selena."

"But that's too long!"

"Not my problem." Emilia shrugged.

"Hmph… Meanie" Selena pouted.

Although they were bickering they made sure to argue in whispers in consideration of the baby. 

In the end, Selena gave up on holding and immersed herself in staring at the baby just like her friend. 

It was odd, they'd been staring at the baby for more than an hour, but they found themselves unable to take their eyes off her. She was cute, too cute actually. No matter how much they tried, they couldn't get satisfied. Their love for her grew with each passing second.

Even though it wasn't her child Selena swore that she'd do everything in her power to make the child happy. 

But even though they were both happy there were also many questions in their mind. The biggest being her eye color. It was a mesmerizing amethyst hue. Selena was pretty concerned at first but calmed down after Emilia insisted that the doctors already checked her child many times. 

It was not normal, they agreed. But when the seven best doctors in the entire world told them the same thing, then it must be true. Since, even if it was a health problem, if they can't do anything about it no one in the world could.

Time passes as both friends indulged themselves in adoring the child or chatting about various topics, most of which were directly or indirectly related to the newborn.
