Will pushed open the large black door of the library, his eyes scanning the vast space filled with towering shelves of books. The sight before him filled him with fascination. Stepping inside, he made his way towards the secretary's desk in the lobby, handing over his identity card. The secretary, taken aback by the name she saw, initially assumed that Utaibah, the name on the card, belonged to a member of the royal family. However, upon seeing the young boy standing before her, she quickly realized her mistake. Perhaps this Utaibah was from a different lineage, as the Royal family typically consisted of adults. With a smile, she approved the young boy's entry, silently acknowledging her own foolishness for confusing a normal boy with a prince.

Will proceeded towards the bookshelves, feeling a sense of anticipation. Although the language of the books was foreign to him, he discovered that he could understand and read them. One particular book caught his attention with its title, "The laws of Mana." Intrigued, he picked it up, and another book, "The Basics of Magic," also captured his interest. Hurriedly, he gathered both books and found a table where he could settle down. Will believed that these books would provide an explanation for his ability to levitate.

Opening the first book, "The Laws of mana," authored by none other than his father Suman, Will was puzzled by what he read on the first page. It stated that mana, a natural element found in the air and part of our surroundings, was required to perform extraordinary feats. The book explained that in order to utilize mana, one must have a calm mind and be in a state of inertia. It described the process of absorbing mana from the atmosphere through the pores of the skin. According to the book, if one was destined to be a swordsman, mana would gather around the heart, forming the first ring. For magicians, mana would gather at the dantian, taking the shape of a droplet of water that would grow as more mana was acquired or experience was gained in battle.

Will found himself puzzled by this information. He searched through the book but couldn't find any cases similar to his own. Although his father, the author, emphasized the need for mana in the body to perform extraordinary feats, Will couldn't remember ever collecting or possessing mana. Yet, he could still fly. This contradiction left him with a throbbing headache and a deep sense of confusion. Borrowing the two books from the front desk, he left the library, still perplexed, and made his way home.

Upon reaching home, Will was overjoyed to find his aunt waiting by the door. He ran towards her, greeting her warmly, and couldn't help but inquire, "Aunt, is it possible for someone to levitate or perform extraordinary feats without having mana in their body?" His aunt, equally puzzled, replied, "No, my boy, that isn't possible. Even your father, the man who defied the laws, couldn't do that..." Her voice trailed off as she came to a realization, her eyes filled with bewilderment and astonishment. She asked, "Did that happen to you?" Will confirmed her suspicions, and his aunt approached him, gently touching his head to determine if he had unlocked any dormant powers. Unfortunately, it became clear that the boy had no magical abilities.

Without wasting any time, his aunt suggested they go to an open field behind the palace to witness his abilities without the presence of mana. Will rolled up his sleeves, took a deep breath, and propelled himself into the air. To his surprise, he shot up like a bullet, moving faster than a jet. The sheer speed overwhelmed him, almost burning his body due to the friction with the air. Fear welled up inside him, and he was on the verge of tears. This new experience was both exhilarating and terrifying, as his speed far surpassed anything he had ever known on the ground.

In an instant, his aunt cut off the supply of mana, causing him to float in the sky. With closed eyes, Will missed the breathtaking scenery below. His aunt gently guided him back down to the ground and remarked, "Oh, boy, what a headache this has caused. From now on, you are forbidden from using magic until I can uncover the reason behind this phenomenon."
