On A Rampage

With Cat's body lying motionless in his arms, Jake stayed on the ground in silence for a while before shouting and punching the ground repeatedly. "No. No. No. No. No."

Cat's friends had also rushed to her side but with Jake punching the ground, they had moved away.

Seeing all the Werts around them laughing, Sasha had ran to attack Resbum while getting assistance from the others.

Jake was still holding Cat in his arms but had stopped punching the ground. Seeing the three-tailed wert that had killed Cat laughing in the air, anger began to surge through Jake.

Still watching the wert laughing, Jake's anger kept increasing and as his anger rose, an outline of purple energy began to form over his body.

It looked like the purple energy was slowly seeping out of Jake's body and now, Jake was getting up from the ground with his eyes still on the three-tailed wert.

"Guys?" Smith said, staring at Jake.

Turning to look at Jake, they could see purple energy surrounding him. The energy was no longer an outline on his body, it had begun seeping into his surroundings and was still spreading. His eyes were purple in colour and his black hair seemed to be floating due to the energy surrounding him.

"AHHHH!!!" Shouting and blinded by rage, Jake jumped from where he was standing and headed for the three-tailed wert.

With the purple energy giving Jake a boost and the wert overly confident in its strength, when Jake reached the wert, he grabbed the neck of the wert and immediately ripped off its head from the neck with his bare hands.

After killing the three-tailed wert that had killed Cat, Jake landed on the ground and killed Resbum before jumping again and killing the remaining werts that were still flying.

Every attack of the werts did nothing to Jake, the attacks weren't strong enough to go through the purple energy on Jake's body, allowing him to be invincible in this situation.

Still blinded by rage and not fully in control of his actions, Jake effortlessly killed any wert he saw. He only had to deliver a punch to the wert and depending on the strength of the wert, his hand could go through the body of the wert.

"Sh-shouldn't we stop him?" Smith asked.

"Why?" Max asked.

"He's out of control." Smith replied.

"But he's killing the Werts." Kyle said.

"Yes but what happens if he stops attacking the werts?" Kevin asked.

"I doubt if we can do anything to stop him." Kyle said.

"Let's just wait things out." Max said. "He's gotta stop at some point. Right?"

Inside the main base of the soldiers on planet Soran, there was a very large dome-like building and a fight was going on which had already destroyed half of the building.

The four-tailed wert, known as Cypher, was currently in a fight against the brigadier on planet Soran, Brigadier Allen.

After killing Captain Hunter along with the soldiers that were with him, Cypher had begun to wreak havoc and cause destruction.

Immediately he was alerted of the situation, Brigadier Allen had tried his best to kill as much werts as possible, in order to reduce the number of casualties. The lower the number of werts, the less destruction that occurred.

Brigadier Allen had noticed that more destruction was coming from the center of the haven and had rushed there without slowing down, killing any wert that got in his way.

Colonel Willow had been following Brigadier Allen and as soon as he rushed towards the center of the haven, she had followed him.

Now, Brigadier Allen was fighting against Cypher while Colonel Willow along with Colonel Luca were fighting against a three-tailed wert.

The unranked soldiers also had their hands full with protecting the haven and battling the lower tailed werts, which is the reason why they were unable to send out a team to assist the students on time.

Cypher and a three-tailed wert were using their magic to disable the devices in the haven and also the devices of the students. The range of the magic was far and wide, even covering the distance were the students were.

Skidding back a little and taking a deep breath, Brigadier Allen opened a portal in front of him and another portal opened behind Cypher. Throwing his fist into the portal, Brigadier Allen punched Cypher on his head and immediately gave him a kick on his leg through another portal he opened.

"These portals are so annoying." Cypher said as Brigadier Allen punched him again on the head through a portal. "At least I have this." Behind Cypher, his four tails were holding onto a long and jagged blue sword. "It was a huge disturbance in your hands."

Brigadier Allen had already received a few hits from Cypher and he had blood on his face and arms, while Cypher was bleeding from different parts of his body but his speed and strength had not been affected in any way. Brigadier Allen had been using the blue sword at the beginning of the fight but Cypher had managed to get a hold of it.

Running towards Brigadier Allen, Cypher ran through another portal which Brigadier Allen had opened and it took him back to where he was standing initially.

Out of anger, Cypher began moving from place to place, destroying buildings and while he was doing that, Colonel Willow was able to grab him and using her magic, she bound him with multiple rope-like objects.

Opening up a portal, Brigadier Allen went through it and came out in front of Cypher. Seeing the binds around him about to break, Brigadier Allen started to pummel Cypher's tails in an attempt to weaken the grip of his four tails on the blue sword.

Realizing what Brigadier Allen was trying to do, Colonels Willow and Luca, who had already defeated the three-tailed wert they were fighting, ran to meet Brigadier Allen and instead of helping him try to get the sword, they began to hit Cypher.

Hitting Cypher would allow him to not break the binds around him and it would also give Brigadier Allen more time to get the sword.

Now bleeding more than before and still receiving multiple hits from all sides, Cypher smiled and let go of the sword. Immediately he let go of the sword, he used two of his tails to wrap around Brigadier Allen, and the other two to wrap around Colonels Willow and Luca individually.

Breaking the binds around him and getting to his feet, Cypher tightened his hold on all three of them. "If I'm going to die, I'm going to take you three with me."

At that moment, something purple could be seen moving from one place to another, killing the werts as it moved. It was moving at a fast rate and was coming towards Cypher.

Now in front of Cypher, he could see it was just a human who had purple energy all around him, so he wasn't worried.

Jumping and grabbing Cypher's neck, Jake kept running and started hitting Cypher right on his head.

Totally stopping Jake's fist with his palm, Cypher smiled and completely broke Jake's arm before butting Jake on the head which made Jake skid back by a few feet.

Even though his arm was still healing, Jake ran forward again and punched Cypher on the head which also made Cypher skid back a little before flying forward and punching Jake on his head which sent him crashing into a building.

While Cypher and Jake were fighting, Brigadier Allen was able to cut off one of Cypher's tails, setting himself free.

After punching Jake on the head, Cypher turned around and saw Brigadier Allen standing with the blue sword in his hands. "I'm still going to kill you."

Just as he was about to fly towards Brigadier Allen, Cypher could hear someone shouting behind him and it was getting closer. Turning to his back, Cypher could see Jake running towards him, shouting.

Jake's arm had healed and the purple energy looked to be condensing around his body.

"You again?" Cypher said before flying towards Jake and punching his neck.

Jake still skidded back but was able to take something with him.

In his hand was one of Cypher's wings and jumping forward, Jake gave Cypher an uppercut and Brigadier Allen opened a portal, and tried to cut the neck of Cypher but he didn't have enough strength to push the sword all the way through.

Seeing the sword stuck in Cypher's neck, Jake jumped and punched the sword, pushing it through Cypher's neck and two separate parts of Cypher fell to the ground.

Before anyone could say anything, Jake had run off as fast as he could. Where he was going, no one knew.

Noticing the purple energy that was running towards them, Smith was hopeful, thinking Jake was finally going to stop since he had killed all the werts.

As Jake approached them, he didn't slow down and they had to leave his path to avoid getting hit by him.

Running past them without even a glance in their direction, Jake ran away with no destination in mind and as he ran past the others, Sasha followed him, running behind him and trying not to lag behind.
