Introduction

Joshua looked toward the huge blue building. The glass practically looked glowing as he stood there silent in happiness, pure joy filled him as his dream of becoming a hero seemed possible. The bright blue outside, the glowing windows, the smell of the flowers that were around the building. He took all of it in, yet he just couldn't accept he actually made it, not yet.

He looked over the building again, watching his peers pass him as they entered. "It's huge," was all Joshua could mutter still staring at the building. "Hey watch out!" he could hear someone yell, but he didn't care as...

"I finally made it! I can't believe it after over 30 failed acceptance letters I made it!" Joshua yelled aloud making other students look in his direction. "Let's see class 1-C seat 3," Joshua thought entering the campus. Passing many doors and his peers, until he finally stopped in front of a tall door with a sign that read "Class 1-C" "Looks like this is it!" he thought.

*Swing, Smash* "GAH my nose," Joshua yelled out. "Oh, looks like the last student arrived," the teacher said. Clutching his bleeding nose Joshua entered the classroom. "Haha, headshot!" a girl with red hair called out. "Stop fooling around, Introduce yourself, and state your powers!" the teacher yelled.

The 5 students including Joshua lined up at the front of the class. "My name is Andrea my superpower is I can control dolls-" the girl with pink hair started to say. "What is its side effect/condition for use?" the teacher asked cutting her off. "I can't control a doll unless it's under 8 inches in length," she responded. "Needs constant practice to be practical/rank up," the teacher jotted down. "Next!" the teacher yelled.

"My name is Elizabeth and I can control fire," the girl with red hair said. "Good, and what is its condition for use?" the teacher asked. "I need to drink about 1 liter of water for 5 seconds of control," she responded. "What in the world kind of drawback is that?" the teacher thought. "Needs a lot of water for Elizabeth to rank it up properly," the teacher jotted down. "Next!" the teacher yelled.

"My name is Joshua my power is spike," Joshua said. "Oh, an original power? What is its condition for use?" the teacher asked. "I can't summon one unless I'm touching the ground and I haven't been able to make one longer than 12 inches yet," Joshua said. "He has the power of an original but has received little to no help growing it," the teacher quickly wrote down. "Next!" the teacher yelled out.

"My name is Ethan I have the power to control grass," said the boy with black hair. "Grass? not earth? anyway, what's its condition for use?" the teacher asked. "I don't know why grass and not earth my dad said it might be a problem with the way I unlocked it, the condition is if the grass is less than 3 inches in length my power won't work on it," Ethan said. "What the hell kind of drawback is that!" the teacher yelled. "I-I'm sorry sir I really don't know why it's like that," Ethan said. "Needs a high amount of training control seems to be garbage," the teacher jotted down. "Last one!" the teacher called out.

"My name is Peter and my power is I can stop people from moving by yelling a code word," the boy with brown hair said. "That's an amazing power! What is its codeword?" the teacher asked. "Sir I swear I'm not joking when I say this, yelling gay is the codeword," Peter said finding sudden interest in the tile floor. "I hate this class already," the teacher grumbled. "Needs breath training and hopefully if he ranks up his power a change in codewords," the teacher jotted down. "Alright class now that all of that is dealt with you may call me Mr. Owens," the teacher said.

The class looked at him annoyed by his remarks and the constant pen-clicking sound made by him. They were shocked by his behavior adult or not, but they were more impressed by the badge on his shirt. Joshua had to read it two no three more times before he could comprehend what he was reading. "Rank 8.4."

"R-Rank 8.4? That's absurd, how the hell did he achieve that?" Joshua thought admiration striking across his face. "This might not be as bad as I thought" Joshua said, ready to listen to his new teacher.
