Colorful banners, designs, and even costumes baffled me, as I walk into the street of our school grounds. Tons of students are offering brochures although they’re pretty happy about giving it to some…
“Ew…Not a chance…you might freak out someone or you might do something perverted in our booth so, nuh! Uh!”
I never did get a brochure but, I can see that their booth is kind of cool, to be honest…A gaming room for students with Wi-Fi sounds cool. Looking around a ton of visitors are allowed in our school so, a lot of new faces.
“A ton of new threats also…I’m not worried about you or anything but, please do be careful out there” My head started aching again, I immediately went to our school back gate and leaned on a wall.
“Why are you worried all of a sudden?”
“Nothing…If you die, I won’t be able to find a new amusing toy to play with…”
“What the hell? What are you trying to say? I’m just an amusement to you? A puppet perhaps?”
“Basically, that’s it…” his deep and gurgle voice annoys me.
“What if I kill myself by jumping off a building right now?” My hands suddenly became numbed and my head feels like my veins are going to pop right out again.
“Do you think I’ll let you do that?! Don’t be foolish…Remember you created me so…be thankful I’m sticking to you even though that your stupid ass life is miserable…”
“…Look at that mommy! That guy is talking but he’s not with someone! Is that what they call freak?” A kid screamed holding her mom’s hand while stuffing his mouth with cotton candy.
“Stop it, Nathaniel! That’s really rude of you! Say sorry!” her mom poked her forehead.
“…Sorry Kuya I didn’t mean it…” his eyes began to water.
“No…No…It’s okay because your right…” I giggled and pulled out a lollipop then giving it to him while kneeling.
“Please do enjoy our school grounds…” I patted the kid's head and went straight into our building.
While walking up my phone vibrated.
“Yo! Good morning!” I got a text from Rina.
“Wazzap ready for practice?” I replied.
“Ye it’s still hard cuz the competition is near like I told you So…this might take a while” then she sent a sad face. “Are you still good for our date on Sunday? Wait…is it Sunday or Saturday?”
“Sunday…” I forgot but I think we should go on Sunday.
“Sure sure…Seeya then! I’ll call you later…gym is starting! Luv ya!” with a tone of heart emoji followed.
After sending a huge heart gif I put my phone in my pocket and opened our classroom door.
Glimmering yellow lights and the soothing sound of drums and guitar stumbled in front of me. The classroom was awesome, tables and chairs, and even. Our food for sale is on fancy plates and ribbons.
“Alex... you're late…” Austin holding a tone of papers.
“Sorry…the train was slow so I had to take the bus…”
“Nah…it’s fine I just need you to stand by so you can clean up the trash early…So you won’t be late for dismissal…”
“Oh…uh…thanks Austin…”
“Just get ready…the booths are scheduled to open in 10 o clock tops… we’re just waiting for Philip…”
“Where’s Philip?”
“Oh…getting ready because his father is going to be speaking in our school’s opening remarks in the gym later…”
“So…we’re going to the gym now?”
“Yeah about right…now…” Then put adviser opened our door and told us to get in line and to go to our gym for the opening ceremony. I was about to get in line well of course…At the back as always, but suddenly, Austin stopped me and told me that if he could accompany me to the teacher’s lounge to pass the papers regarding our booth classifications.

The rest of my classmates went straight down, both of us went up.
“So…who’s the booth moderator this time?”
“It’s professor, Miguel”
“Oh, the politics teacher?” I replied.

Different classrooms provided by the students were really dumbfounding, they all did this in just days? It’s impressive thinking that a lot of students have unique mindsets and creativity when it comes to room and designing. There is one room that is called. “Just read” it’s a room that you could get a cup of coffee and just read whatever you like. Manga, novels, and other books are not available in our library. “Hey…what room are you going to try first…?” Austin looked at me while glancing around the halls with other students.
“Uhm…I’m not sure, maybe I’ll just stay in the field and try the food tents outside…or just sleep in the clinic and pretend that I’m not feeling well…”
“That’s actually not a bad idea Alex…But, you know we have duties in our booth, right?”
“Actually, forgot about that…” We both laugh and we eventually reached the Professor’s lounge, Austin told me to wait outside because non-representative students are not allowed because it’s too crowded inside. I nodded in agreement.
I just stared at the bulletin board. Filled with school policies.
“Honesty and integrity huh…? Well, I think that’s just too real…”
“Hey, Alex…” I was startled and almost jumped at my spot.
“Annie…just don’t do that again…” Annie laughed.
“By the way what are you wearing?”
“Oh…My classmates are doing a cosplay snack bar…!” Annie was wearing a maid outfit with cat ears and tail…It was really cute.
“So…what do you think!?” She turned around and looked at me again. I could tell that my face was bright red.
“Heh…? Am I cute or not…?” she smirked at me.
“You look ridiculous…” Annie pouted and frowned.
“I’m graduating next year and you can’t even tell a single complement to your older grade…! Hmph!”
I laughed.
“Wha!? What are you laughing about!?” Her face turned red.
“No…I-I’m just really amused how cute you are…” She suddenly turned her head down.
“Annie…? You good…?” She suddenly punched me in the stomach.
“Ouch! Wha-What was that for?!” Annie suddenly ran.
“Visit us, you dummy!” She exclaimed. What a tsundere way to say it.
“Who was that?” Austin suddenly popped out at my side out of nowhere.
“Where did you came from all of a sudden!?”
“Oh…Sorry I just dropped the papers on his desk because the other professors are in the gym already…”
“Do…we really need to attend the opening ceremony?” I blurted.
“Wanna ditch?” Austin rested his head in his arms up.
“Wait…You want to ditch it…?” I looked at Austin flabbergasted.
“Look…What’s the point of going there if we're not even gonna listen…” He has a point but I’m really surprised that Austin our vice prez, will ditch the opening ceremony.
“What you think I’m all old goodie two shoes?” Austin said.
“Yeah…you were all so responsible, and a bunch of girls in our class is admiring you because you are responsible and cool…So, it’s really surprising to see you like this…”
“We’re friends…” Austin sighed. “It’s natural for me to show this side of me to you…It’s just normal to be true with your friends, right?”
“Thanks, Austin…” I smiled back.
“So…Want to get ice cream outside?” I nodded in agreement, we walk side by side until we reached the school field, occupied with food tents and with both laugh while eating our frozen desert. I never thought we had the same vibes. We talked about music, shows, and books.
“What? You never use Twitter Austin!?”
“Yeah…Some people there are really cringing…So, I’m not using that app…”
“I agree…I just use it for retweets…Anime stuff…”
“Hey! Alex!” A voice of a girl from our front, she began waving at us.
“L-Lea? What are you doing here? Are you not attending the ceremony?” Lea sat down at my side and leaned her head on my shoulder, she suddenly grabbed my ice cream.
“Isn’t that my line!?”
“That pin…?” Austin pointed out a pin attached to Lea’s necktie.
“Oh…I’m in duty…ya know…maintaining peace and other boring stuff…” Lea took a big bite on my ice cream.
“So…Alex…Who’s your friend?”
“Oh…Uhm this is Austin…Lea, Austin…Lea…” Lea reached out her hand and Austin happily shook it.
“Never thought you made a new friend by yourself huh!?” She shook my head sideways, my hair exploded.
“Hana will be so proud!” She exclaimed.
“Hana?” Austin suddenly stared at both of us. “your girlfriend?”
“No…! No…!” I raised my arms in denial. “She’s just a friend of mine…” Lea punched me in my arm.
“What a dense person…” She blurted. Austin and Lea both looked at each other. Both of them glanced at me.
“What…? Austin…?” Austin sighed and patted my shoulder.
“You’ll have to figure this out on your own…” Lea and Austin both giggled…since when these two became synced? I breathe heavily and just stared at them both while laughing at me…I guess this is the start of my foundation day fiesta huh…? It’s not actually bad.
