The dreams

On one beautiful morning in an orphanage, kids from age 5 to age 13 were playing in the garden. Some of them were just running here and there while others were playing different games such as board games, running games, hand games,etc.

The lady enters the garden and announces,"Okay, it's lunch time. Everyone gather here." On hearing her words, all the kids stop what they were doing and all of them reply," Yes sister Roonie!". All the kids enter the hall and take their places with their friends on the tables and chairs. Then Roodie enters and says," Hey did you all forgot?" Everyone understand and make line to get the food.

One by one everyone was taking their plates and serves then went to sit again but before leaving after getting the plate they all said," Thanks sister Fehly". They were all well mannered and disciplined. After washing hands and finishing the food. They all went to a room in line. It was the washing room. They all washed their plates one by one. After finishing that they all went to kitchen and placed the plates on the stands. Some kids were complaining "Our food wasn't much tasty maybe we should try harder." 

Roodie goes to Fehly and asks," Did they not make it good today?" Fehly replies," It was ok but not much good. Don't hit them okay. It was good." Roodie then asks for some to try. Fehly sweats and rejects her by saying that all food is finished. Roodie understand and asks for food again in anger. Fehly starts shaking and gives her the food. Roodie takes a bite. Then spits it out. Roodie then says," Fehly, don't ever try to defend them again. Now tell me how many of them didn't make the food tasty?" Fehly goes inside the kitchen takes a sheet writes some codes on it and gives it to roodie. Roodie looks at the sheet and gets shocked. She angrily asks," 15? How can this much mess up. I got it." Roodie turns back and starts walking towards the big room where all the kids slept and spent time. Fehly tries to stop roodie but she fails as roodie was not listening to her.

Roodie announces the codes and the kids with that code come in front. Then she says," It's punishment time" the children get scared and start trembling. Roodie then walks toward another room and the kids followed her while crying. They reach the hall and roodie opens the door and tells everyone to remove all their clothes and innerwears and enter the hall. The 9 boys and 6 girls don't even hesitate to remove all their wears in front of each other and enter the room. Roodie closes the door.

Another lady walks up in front of them and says," Wow! 15 today. It will be fun." She grabs a boy by his arm and then ties her with a rope. Then she puts a burning iron rod on the boy's naked burnt and scarred back. The boy shouts a lot and cries a lot in pain. Then she leaves the rod on his back. And then takes a girl hangs her with rope by her hands, takes many ice cubes and puts them in the girls mouth and then raises her legs up and tied them with rope. Takes a scizzor and cuts the girl's thigh's skin and inserts ice cubes there. And then drops her in a bucket of ice cubes which was kept down. The punishment for everyone continues. After nearly 45 minutes. The kids come out of the hall. The firsr boy was not able to even stand because the rod melted it's back skin and harmed internal organs. The second girl's legs were numbed and her legs were shaking because the inserted ice cubes numbed the nervous and muscles and she fainted after some time.

Roodie takes them to the recovery room. There she hands them to a man and says," Doctor. Take care of them." Dr.Reco replies," This time it was much torcherous than other times." Roodie says," The more the mistakes, the harsher the punishment" roodie leaves and enters the hall with the kids. Roodie announces," So, anyone wants to join the punishment?" All the kids shout in fear "No!" Roodie continues," Good. Then keep in mind. You have to be perfect. Don't you want to be gifted?" The kids reply," Yes. We will do nothing that offends the dear sisters." Roodie then smiles and says," You all are really good. Just some days are remaining before some of you will be gifted. Make sure to please the god to be gifted. Roodie closes the door and leaves.

The kids start talking to each other that they want to achieve their dream of pleasing the god be gifted. Just then a 12 year old boy looks at the door and says to himself," I won't be fooled with these dreams you have put in our heads. I will escape this prison no matter what." Then he wants to his friends coded, 'K1'(a boy) 'Q1'(a girl) and the boy was coded,'J1'. K1 says," Let's go over the information we know. Q1 says," We are trained to please someone called 'god' and the god will do something which is called 'being gifted'. Here no names are given to any kid everyone have code that are printed on their forearms. When someone from the kids become capable of passing a test called 'The selection' the kid gets out of the orphanage and most probably this is known as being gifted. But we don't know where the kid goes. If we make mistake or don't do something well we will be punished very harshly or bit softly on the basis of the scale of mistake. There are 5 persons we kids meet. Sister Roodie, Sister Fehly, Dr. Reco, Sister puny and Father Cone. They all have their own chores and works to do. Their duties are divided. The orphanage is covered with walls and with jail bars. The kids die when they pass the selection because we have seen the dead bodies of 2 of them. Most probably they didn't die they were killed. The kids here must be protected. The god is someone evil.We just know this much. This is all we collected from the books in the library and our observation." K1 says," That's really less we need more. Remember, don't do your best to please the king. Because we know the most important thing that is , Outside the orphanage there is a heaven but if we are gifted then hell lies ahead of us."

They then follow the orders and live their days according to the routine. It was Sunday. There is holiday of school on their weekends. They have to prepare their own food, wash their dishes, their clothes, clean rooms and everything that a mother does for her child. Only the kids below age 8 were free as they aren't capable of that much.

K1, Q1 and J1 are short forms they call themselves and each other because their original code is long. All of their codes consist of 5 characters. They all have a name but it's kept hidden from them. K1's actual code was K12NJ. They pronounced it like," Ke twelve enje". But the sisters and kids once talked about it, had a brief discussion, and decided to call him 'Kenji'. This was only for him because his name was so hard to pronounce. Q1's and J1's original codes were QO12N and JK12R. The numbers in every kid's code represented the kids age. The code for someone with a age of 1 digit was given by adding zero before them. Such as the kid who had so many scars on his back and was the first one to be punished this day. His code is R09LS. When a kid gets 100 score by the orphanage the codes change and this time the codes represent something different and not the age. K1, Q1 and J1 never got 100 score because they pretended to be bad at everything. As the day passed they gathered more information, gained more knowledge and trained themselves. 

The night arrives. Sister Roodie enters the hall which is named,"The hall". Tells everyone to sleep and closes the door. Everyone then close the lights. Their beds were stacked on each other and had to use a rail to climb to their bed. The kids beds were on the ground and the height was kept on the basis of ages. K1 Q1 and J1 had their beds on the top. 3 meters far from the ceiling. Fans were not their. Just some machines fitted on corners of walls that provided air. As roodie was heading towards her room. All the rooms can be seen one after another that showed how big the orphanage is. Every place had its name. The kitchen, The hall, The punishment room, The recovery room, The garden, The school, The bathing room, The washing room (for clothes and dishes) and The Toilet. These were the main rooms there. There were some additional rooms but kids weren't allowed to go there. They were roodie's room, fehly's room, dr.reco's room, The cabin, The communication room. There were many more places which we will see later.

Those three were different than others. They were best in all activities and performances but they always acted as they are not much good so that they don't pass the selection. The orphanage was covered with big walls and giant beautiful jail bars surrounding the walls and reaching a big height and covering the whole in it. There was a big gate which was the only exit and entrance to the orphanage but no kid was allowed there and if anyone goes there he is given punishment.

This is the orphanage which is named ," The heaven" while the kids call it " The dream" and the three kids K1, Q1 and J1 call it 'The Prison'. There are secrets hidden there and some of them are known by these three kids while the others are unknown by them.

The dark world and the kind world lies ahead of them. Which one will be chosen by them?
