W.O.S: The Host System. - Book 1
In 2026, the earth was affected by the fall of a meteor called Prometheus.
This meteor spread over the world an unknown energy that affected all creatures on earth, giving them powers and altering their forms that included humans. The nations of the world have started an arms race for pieces of this meteor and for people with the strongest special powers.
Peter's Family was caught in the meteor crash five years ago, this little debris that turned Peter's life upside down was nothing more than an interesting and lazy unknown being who ended up using Peter's body as a host for rest.
Peter, the main character of this plot, is a slightly cowardly and carefree teenager, known by the nickname Vagalume due to his power to control the light.
Peter's life since the fall of Meteor has been followed by endless misfortune, from the loss of his parents, the death of his brother in the war, finally to complete his misfortune he is of compulsory military service age.
What will your life be like? How will it change from now on? We will see in the released chapters.
Thousands years ago, there were many sentient beings that lived on earth.
With humans, races shared the earth's core energy to use their magic and work in their abilities. At that time humanity began to grow extremely fast and it was an aggressive race, that considered itself superior the others, one day a powerful sorcerer of the demonic race gathered the magical races other than humans into a council and presented them with a spell.
A spell to separate the magical races from humanity, the council of the magical races accepted and so they created the Éllos, a subplane that was a copy of the earth where the magical races would reside, this subplane would feed directly from the magical energy of the center of the planet, eternally punishing humans with the deprivation of magic.
In current times with humans regaining their powers through the unknown energy, they are once again an issue that concerns the magical races, how will they react? Only the future will tell.
