The Owl house : A witch ?? no no ,I am a Magus

Synopsis: A fan of Leylin Farlier from the novel "Warlock of the Magus World" died tragically at the hands of his fiancée's lover. Fortunately for him, his death wasn't the end but the beginning of a greater story. Author's note: This is a crossover with other works like Gravity Falls, Amphibia, Star Butterfly (Star vs the Forces of Evil) and Warlock of the magus world . It's not a harem (but the protagonist will have two waifus at the end, which for me isn't really a harem) .

Chapter 10: Family Problem and Effects of the Meditation Method on Willow.

Leylin's POV.

What is a witch, really?

For people in my current world, it's just an inhabitant of the Boiling Isles or a practitioner of magic.

In truth, I don't really agree 100%.

In my opinion, they're just a race of Homo sapiens that has long been victims of radiation or the influence emitted by the titan's corpse or the Boiling Isles.

Proof of this is that Eda mentioned that witches used to practice magic in a different way, but now they use a special organ to do it.

At first, I thought this ancient way of practicing magic was linked to the titan, but I'm not so sure anymore.

Why? It's because the glyphs used by the young girl named Luz are closely linked to the titan himself, she can't use them in the human world.

Yet humanity has always had traces of witchcraft in its history for eons, I don't understand too many elements for now.

My most likely hypothesis is that it's possible there were humans who found themselves in the demon realm in a distant past.

That would explain a lot of things, like the witches' worship of the titan.

I can't agree 100% with the history of King's people mentioned in "The Owl House" show, I need to study the biology and fauna of the Boiling Isles to be sure.

"Leylin, can I move now?" asks Willow, lying on an operating table.

"Yes, yes," I say, looking at Willow's DNA through a microscope, which was surprisingly similar to that of a human.

I made this thing using Fang Ming's knowledge, and I must say that creating a magical version of a microscope was easy.

I'm currently observing the evolution of her physique since she started practicing the basic meditation method, but also the knight's breathing technique.

For now, nothing negative on the magical level, I've even observed a huge progression in Willow's control over plants after she visualized her first mental rune during a meditation session.

Currently, she has already been able to visualize 7 runes in just 5 days.

This means that Willow's talent isn't bad, but it's a shame I can't verify her affinity for now, even if I already have an idea of which one she possesses.

On the other hand, her vitality is increasing enormously, she has a physical strength that's scary for a 10-year-old girl.

I should perhaps teach her the sword art of the Farlier family.

"So, do you think you'll finish visualizing the 8th rune today?" I ask, leaving my notes on Willow's evolution using Leylin's knowledge.

"I'm almost sure I'm about to visualize the 8th, professor," she says excitedly.

Since my return from the library, Willow has been calling me professor or master because of my lessons.

At first, I was embarrassed in front of my family, and Amity's angry looks didn't help, but I eventually got used to it.

Currently, I can say she's extremely strong and could become even stronger soon.

Of course, I used the "The Everlasting Oath" spell to prevent her from disclosing my work to other people voluntarily or involuntarily.

Mother is taking too much interest in my activities recently, and I don't like it.

"Excellent, keep up the good work," I say to her with a smile.

With my knowledge, she could become an official magus within 2 years if she's slow, and 1 year if she's faster than expected.

I remember that Leylin often had to slow down his growth to avoid getting into trouble, and there were also times when he had to hide for long periods.

This reminds me of a certain level 4 magus, his name was Weyers, and he was under the Sky Monarch.

Leylin had estimated that he became an official magus at the age of 8 or 9, and the monster had reached level 4 in his fifties, while Leylin himself couldn't do the same and called him a demonic genius.

I want to do something similar or better, but I need to steal one or two objects from the "emperor" to obtain the resources necessary for such a feat.

Currently, I often hope to reproduce certain "morally ethical" potions of Leylin, but I'm having trouble finding similar resources.

So, I need the special glove that can make anything grow according to its owner's desire.

.

"You shouldn't stay isolated alone for so long, Leylin," declares Alador while eating.

"Haha, you forget that you do the same very often," I say after laughing.

I was referring to those long nights of work to create unique and varied abominations.

"Yes, but he's an adult and responsible. You, Leylin, are still young, even if you're intelligent and wise, you still need our advice," declares Odalia before continuing to eat.

The atmosphere at the table has changed enormously since I separated Willow from Amity, it seems that my brothers and sisters are still in "isolation of mommy's boy" mode.

I'll just have to wait for it to pass.

After all, people grow up, and Amity eventually understood that it was her weakness that allowed mother to control her in the original story.

She'll eventually realize this, and the twins too, so I'm not worried about the deterioration of our current family bond.

"I wanted to know, Leylin, when were you planning to tell me that you're learning to make potions?" mother asks, looking at me after cleaning her mouth with a napkin.

"How did you know?" I say simply, frowning.

"You're not very discreet, you forget that potions are expensive in resources and that you've been going out a lot recently," she says, maintaining eye contact.

It seems she's been following me without my noticing one way or another, as expected from the one who trained me in oracle magic.

"I finished training with father, and I don't go to school like Amity and the others since it's boring for me," I explain calmly.

"So I decided to learn more, and potion-related magic is interesting. To be frank, I'm thinking of studying bard magic and illusions at the same time," I say nonchalantly.

"LEYLIN!" she says loudly.

I knew that learning more than one magic was already difficult with my mother's personality, but I'm not going to back down, I have a lot to learn, and I should start my path as a magus soon.

The only reason I haven't started training to become a magus yet is my distrust of Leylin, but for now, Willow is doing well after using the information stolen from Leylin Farlier.

"Mother... I want to learn all types of magic, and NO ONE is going to stop me," I say firmly, I'm not going to compromise.

She knows it well, I'm her only capable son and the only one with shoulders strong enough to become a clan leader.

If she wants the influence of the Blight family to increase even more, she'd better stroke me in the right direction.

Anyway, my workshop and my things are not irreplaceable, I even have funds thanks to Leylin Farlier's novel.

I remember that it wasn't altered after my encounter with Leylin, it seems I had just affected a parallel universe that was linked to this novel.

"I've already explained it to you, Leylin, there are laws in this world," she says before sighing with fatigue.

My mother doesn't like confronting me, I'm not as easily influenced as my brothers and sisters after all.

"Yes, I know, but it's temporary since after Hexside Academy I'll have to join a Coven," I lie nonchalantly.

"Darling, let Leylin learn other things, and you know well that... he has no friends," he says, the last part in a whisper.

"I don't need friends," I say simply to my father Alador.

A friend?? Who is qualified to obtain such a title on this island?

The closest is probably Willow, but we have a master and servant relationship.

During our exchanges, Amity, Emira, and Edric seem amazed by mother's behavior.

I hope they'll understand the importance of "strength" after this, but I doubt it very much, they've literally been conditioned to obey Odalia.

Author's note: There will soon be a "Time skip" and the canon story is coming soon, I just want the protagonist to have a solid foundation (in writing).

PS: I really think I'm going to do crazy things in this story, lol, I'm really enjoying myself :).
