ILLUSION (II)

"Kill me? Why would someone want to kill me?" Fengge asked

Could it be that someone had found out his identity?

"Crown prince, you better be very careful." Tingzhe said walking away.

Staying back, Fengge examined the beast. The talisman had heaven's spell on it. No. His father had always spoken badly of the dark realm. Maybe they were trying to confuse him.

"Okay. Everything's done. Let's go back." He heard Yingtai say.

He looked at Tingzhe signaling the beast. It couldn't be left behind in the middle of the city. Using a transport spell, Tingzhe lead it of the city.

Just as they were happily about to enter the Raven sect, Tingzhe stopped looking around. There was a dark aura of a powerful person lingering around. Even Fengge felt it. Hiding one of his hands, he strengthened his disguise. Who could it be?

Dismissing the rest of the disciples, Tingzhe and Fengge snuck up to Lord Chaos's room. Opening the door slightly, they gasped immediately at who they saw.

Lord Pain couldn't help glancing at Lord Chaos. Whenever she was around, he just couldn't focus. The dark lord looked around the room at his three juniors. Although they looked like they were actually very distracted.

"Can the both of you stop looking at Lord Chaos?" The dark lord asked deciding to tease his two brothers.

Lord Sly was the first one to speak up trying to defend himself.

"Elder brother, don't slander me. Elder sister. How can I dare?" Lord Sly asked

Lord Pain didn't say anything and instead walked to the other side of the table examining the layout before them.

The dark lord sighed when looking at his blood brother. He was indeed very stiff. The intension between Lord Chaos and Lord Pain could be felt.

Suddenly, Fengge tripped falling back hitting the scary statue placed beside him. All of them turned immediately looking at the door. Tingzhe grabbed Fengge's hand ready to disappear when he noticed he couldn't use his powers steadily. Turning back, he saw Lord Chaos standing there looking at him.

"What are you doing here eavesdropping? Do you want me to hit you?" Lord Chaos asked stretching her hand to hit her son.

That boy. He was taking after his father each day. Becoming more unruly.

"Lord Chaos, don't hit him" Lord Pain said walking out of the room.

Tingzhe indeed was his son. He took after him. But this unruly son of his was indeed stubborn. Suddenly, his eyes dart to the person standing near Tingzhe.

"This person is using a disguise spell. Who is he?" Lord Pain thought.

"Pain." Lord Pain whispered.

Fengge fell to the ground in pain. His body felt like it had been bitten by a thousand scorpions. Lord Pain's powers were indeed to feared. The pain was so much he couldn't help spitting out blood.

The three lords gasped as they saw the color of Fengge's blood. The dark king looked at Fengge and recognized him immediately. The dark realm were not critics. They accepted anyone and took brotherhood into account. Although he was the crown prince of heavenly realm, he was part demon. He was one of their own.

"Lord Pain, stop." The dark king said

"Stop" Lord Pain said

Fengge was breathing heavily while sweating. Tingzhe helped him stand up immediately.

"Lord Pain, he is an envoy of the dark lord. Why did you do that?" Lord Chaos asked making the dark king raise his eyebrow in surprise.

"Why would I send the crown prince of the heavenly realm to be my envoy?" The dark king thought.

Fengge crossed his hands praying. He had used the powers the ice god gave him. Maybe it had not recognized him yet.

Lord Chaos looked at the dark king and Lord Pain sensing something was suspicious. Lord Sly sensed her confusion and smiled. Lord Chaos had been sent away from the dark realm when she was still young. Although she had made a name for herself , she was not as knowledgeable as the rest of the lords.

The dark king kept quiet thinking. It was better to let Fengge think they had not found out in order to know what the heavenly realm was up to.

"Elder brother, did you send him?" Lord Pain asked

"Yes. I did." The dark king said

Fengge sighed as the dark king said that. He had managed to fool them.

"Still, what are the both of you doing here?" Lord Chaos asked

"We noticed the aura of a distinguished guest so we came to pay our respect." Tingzhe said lying smoothly.

"Is that true?" The dark king asked Fengge.

Fengge was from the heavenly realm. Lying would be the same as piercing himself with a thousand nails. After the pain attack Lord Pain gave him, he wouldn't dare lie.

Fengge kept silent looking as everyone's attention was on him. His power had depleted due to the pain attack Lord Pain gave him. If he lied now, it would be seeking death. But he had no choice.

"Yes. Its true" Fengge said regretting as soon as the words left his mouth.

"He must be mad. Yes. That has to be the only explanation" Tingzhe thought looking at Fengge who staggered back.

"What's wrong?" Lord Chaos asked

The dark king closer his eyes massaging his temple. This boy. He was indeed naive and stupid. He couldn't die here in the Raven sect or his wife, the nature guardian would give him a ear full. They were just starting to get along due to Jiayi.

"Take him away to rest. Lord Pain's power must have been too much for him to bear" The dark king said as Tingzhe lead Fengge away.

Jiayi was here with him and didn't lack anything. But where was his other daughter. Was she also facing the same attack Jiayi was?

Huiqing turned in her sleep. Her whole body was cold. The cold was eating her up. She felt as her master and her three fellow disciples stood helping her. They were using fire spells to try and warm her up.

"Master, how long will it take? I don't think I can hold on" Su Ying complained.

No matter how much she wanted to, Huiqing didn't look good at all. She was very pale and cold.

"We have no choice. Everyone! Keep on warming her!" Bai Lian said increasing her powers.

Jiu Bao followed her master's orders increasing her powers. Huiqing had always had this problem as a child. That's why she always doted on her the most. Even more than her own biological sister. Too bad no one knew what was making her have these ice attacks.

After warming her for hours, Huiqing once again survived causing Bai Lian to sigh in relief. Something must be wrong with the cores. Bai Lian looked back at her three disciples who were breathing heavily.

"Master, why does Huiqing have these ice attacks? Is there no cure that can help her?" Xie Bai asked trying to catch his breathe.

Sighing, Bai Lian turned to Huiqing who was sleeping soundly. They were right. Was there really no cure for Huiqing?

"All of you have exhausted your powers. Go back and cultivate. Don't force yourself." Bai Lian said

"Yes master." Xie Bai and Su Ying said

"Master, Huiqing is still weak. How about while you go and make her medicine, I can stay and take care of her?" Jiu Bao asked

"First sister, you are the one most weak. You have to go and rest. Remember, you are the first disciple. You need to be ready in case a battle breaks out" Su Ying said

"Don't worry. I can cultivate here. Huiqing's room has a lot of spirit energy. It is the best place to cultivate. Don't worry. Go and rest." Jiu Bao said

"First sister! Okay, I will stay with you. You will need protection while you cultivating" Su Ying said

"No. Go. I said go!" Jiu Bao said making Su Ying stomp out in anger.

Forgetting Xie Bai, Su Ying slams the door on his face angrily. Pacing around in her room, Su Ying opens her window seeing Jiu Bao taking Huiqing's bowl of medicine inside.

"Huiqing, Huiqing, Huiqing" Su Ying said angrily.

"Su Ying, are you okay?" Xie Bai asked

Shocked, she opened her door and sees Xie Bai cultivating in front of her door. He could still hear her even though he was cultivating. Plus his eyes were not open. Seems like he had not yet entered the stage of absence yet.

"What are you doing here?" Su Ying asked

Opening his eyes, Xie Bai stood up to face Su Ying.

"I saw how angry you were so I followed you. You are still weak. Angry can harm your body" Xie Bai said

"It's all because of first sister. She doesn't see my obvious concern for her and even scolds me" Su Ying murmured making Xie Bai laugh.

"Our Su Ying is still very immature. First sister is just very worried about Huiqing. Alright. Don't be mad. Sit. Let's cultivate together. You will feel better after, okay?" Xie Bai asked helping Su Ying sit down.

"Second brother treats me very well." Su Ying said
