18 Zigon

After teleporting to his destination, Akimitsu saw a few people waiting for him at the platform. After seeing his Rinnegan, the person waiting immediately became more respectful.

"Commander, the others are waiting for you," said the man as he led Akimitsu to the largest tent not far away.

As he stepped inside, Akimitsu saw a circular table with about 30 seats. More than 20 people had already taken their place while waiting for the rest. All these people had one thing in common: they either had a Rinnegan, Tenseigan, or a Dojutsu of a similar level.

They were all commanders.

As soon as Akimitsu appeared, many eyes laid on him. Some people seemed to have recognized him, while others were just looking. Akimitsu looked around to see if he knew anybody. Unfortunately, the answer was negative.

So, he took a seat without saying anything. As for the people who continued to spy on him, he could guess the reason. Apparently, being a Double Awakener was a rare thing, thus slightly elevating his status amongst the commanders.

About an hour later, all the commanders finally arrived, and the meeting began. During this time, Akimitsu was observing everyone in his surrounding to gather some information.

And he did learn something.

Amongst this group of 30 commanders, 10 of them seemed to be on the same side. Based on their body language and behavior, they appeared very close to each other and seemed dedicated to the same goal.

He guessed that these people might be the personal soldier of the Otsutsuki member who would plant the Divine Tree on this planet. They have most likely followed him most of their lives, fighting battles after battles in his service.

The person who started the meeting was the leader of that group of 10. He first introduced himself as Sendo before getting straight to the main topic:

"This battle is very important to Sir Akishiki, and she is present on this planet overseeing the entire situation, so do your best, and you will be rewarded handsomely.

"Now, let's begin the strategy meeting."

Sendo pushed a button on a circular orb on the table, which then displayed a hologram document full of information.

"As you all know, Faith Gods have a symbiotic relationship with their believers. The more believers they have, the more powerful they are. So, our main objective is to kill as many believers of this god called Satanius.

"Unfortunately, these followers are immortal and cannot be killed unless we destroy their souls. The decided tactic is that your squad members will catch these followers and bring them to us, the commanders, so we can kill them."

"This tactic will place us at a disadvantage. Our enemy is immoral and has no fear of death or pain. But we have to subdue then capture them," said another Commander.

"Indeed. Wouldn't it be better for us to kill the mobs personally?"

"Unfortunately, we have to deal with the Archbishops, so our hands will be tied," replied Commander Sendo. "However, you do not have to worry. Each commander will be granted 5 Captains with sealing abilities.

"As long as you formulate plans around them as the core, everything should be fine."

Sendo proceeded to explain the general situation of planet Zigon, including the geophagy and power distribution. He even introduced the personality and abilities of each Archbishops– believers at the same level as the Commanders.

While Akimitsu listened to the briefing, he also began to plan.

'If I want to create a situation that places Akishiki Otsusuki in danger and save her, I need a way for this Satanius to suddenly increase his strength when he is about to be captured.

'And the best way to accomplish that is through his believers.'

Many plans flashed across his mind. The first plan was to place these followers into a Genjutsu so that they become incredibly loyal to Satanius. However, he quickly denied that plan.

The followers of Faith Gods are classified based on the level or amount they believe in their god. The lowest rank is Shallow Believer. These believers only occasionally pray to their god and will only receive little to no benefit from him.

The highest level is called Fanatic Believers, and these people will do anything their gods ask of them–even killing themselves or their loved ones. Fanatic Believers are the core of all Faith Gods and receive immortality from them along with powers–just like Hidan in the Shinobi World.

Planet Zigon is the main base of Satanius, so all the followers here are Fanatic Believers that he gathered from all over the universe.

So, Akimitsu knew that this method would not work. Additionally, he knew that a main clan member was present on this planet, and he would not take risks in case his Genjutsu was detected.

However, he did have an idea of how to plan things.

After the meeting, he headed to meet his assigned team. Akimitsu spent the next three days training them on cooperation and tactics. He even gave each of the captains a Flying Thunder God Kunai so that he could come to save them in case the team came close to being wiped out.

Of course, Akimitsu did not care about these people. He only wanted them to perform well in this battle to give the Otsutsuki Clan member the sense that he wanted to please her.

Then, when he tries to save her from danger, nothing will seem abnormal if someone investigates his personality or way of doing things.

After the training session, Akimitsu returned to his quarters. He had another four days before the battle officially began, so he needed to prepare in advance.

He activated all the seals he placed in his room before starting his innate gift. His destination was not the Shinobi World this time, but one of the worlds with life.

Using his bloodline ability as an Otsusuki to travel to other dimensions, he teleported to the planet he chose.

Entering an invisible mode, Akimitsu flew to all the populated areas to survey the entire planet. A humanoid race with plant features habited this place. He could tell that this race had an abundance of vitality inside their bodies.

This race lived in countless villages scattered all over the planet. However, they were a relatively peaceful race, so few conflicts started between towns.

'Large population, weak battle prowess, and a small planet: This is the perfect place,' thought Akimitsu.

Multiple Clone Jutsu.

Numerous clones of him appeared in an isolated forest before they all flew in different directions. Then, these clones began to install seals all over this entire planet.

It took him two days before he was finished. Then, on the third day, when the moon appeared in the sky, Akimitsu launched the Infinite Tsukuyomi–well, a lesser version of it.

The moon in the sky changed into a Rinnegan with tomoe inside before launching a planetary-wide Genjutsu.

All the people of this planet suddenly knelt on the ground as they chanted:

"Glory to Lord Satanius."

The voice of millions of people repeatedly chanting the same thing echoed throughout the Heavens. A few minutes later, Akimitsu saw a faint golden threat coming from these people's heads traveling toward a direction.

However, the seal he placed activated a barrier to black the thread, forcing them to stay in the sky.

'Perfect. Once Satanius is defeated and about to be captured, I will release the seal so that he can access this faith, thus drastically increasing his strength.

'That way, he can use the element of surprise to injure Akishiki severely and even almost kill her. Then, I will suddenly undergo my Ancestral Awakening and save her.

'Hopefully, she is grateful enough to repay my aid. Otherwise, I will have to climb the power ladder in the main branch slowly.'

Akimitsu then made sure that there was no problem before returning to Planet Zigon.
