3 Next Step Plan

"As you all know, one of the clan members wants to plant the Divine Tree into this planet. Unfortunately, the Alloy Race discovered this world at the same time as our Otsutsuki clan, and they want to mine all the resources of this planet until it becomes barren and devoid of life," said the Commander.

"After our clan member fought with the Alloy Race, they could not come to an immediate decision. Fearing that their battle might destroy the entire planet, they decided to use us, soldiers, to decide the ownership of this planet."

The Commander paused to allow everyone to process the information he just gave. To be precise, he said all these words to inform Akimitsu, the newcomer.

Meanwhile, Akimitsu was already aware that other races in this universe could compete with the Otsutsuki including the Alloy Race and the Sage Race--that are often called the nemesis of the Otsutsuki because they cannot be absorbed by them.

"Unfortunately, I just received news two Commanders with their entire legion was recently destroyed, leaving no one alive. So, the situation on this planet has become dire."

After that, the Commander started to give deployment orders to all the Captains under his command, who will in term relay this command to all the Squad Leaders under them. As for Akimitsu, he was given a few days off before new members can be recruited for him to have at least five Squadron Leaders under him with either a Sharingan or First Awakening Byakugan.

After the meeting was finished, Akimitsu found himself still in Captain Chiba's tent, and everything seemed like a dream. The latter patted his shoulder while saying: "Take a few days off, then it's time for battle."

Akimitsu nodded before heading to his Squad Leader tent. In the process, he started to review the information in the meeting.

'According to what I know from my past life, one Osutsuki member called Kinshiki once said that the Shinobi world had a space curvature of 16, and any world with a space curvature of 10 and higher must be reported to the elders of the clan.

'Since a member of the clan is so desperate to fight for this planet, then it may mean that this planet has a high enough space curvature.'

Akimitsu sighed after thinking about this, 'Unfortunately, my level is too low in the clan to get access to these kins of information. So, I can only speculate. However, one day…'

After entering his tent--which was basically a small house with plenty of space inside, he headed straight to his room.

"Now, let's test my newfound power," muttered Akimitsu to himself. His eyes turned into a brand new pattern, and suddenly, he appeared in a grey world, and everything around him looked exactly like his own tent.

'So, my right eye grants me access to a mirror world, just like the Sorcerers in Doctor Strange. This ability is a very good way to hide, and only people with Dojutsus related to space and dimension might have a chance to track me down.'

Following this, the world around Akimitsu started to twist under his control and he appeared a few kilometers under his tent; located there was a large underground passageway that seemed to be meticulously crafted. In this passageway, there were many strange graffitis or runes written on the walls.

The space then broke and Akimitsu moved from the Mirror Dimensions to the real world.

"So, I can use the Mirror Dimension to teleport myself in different places in the real world," muttered Akimitsu, who was very satisfied with his new ability. Afterward, he took out a kunai and made a deep cut on his arm, leading to blood dripping down.

Then, Akimitsu started to count: "1, 2, 3…" After itching five, a strange power appeared in his cut arm, and the arm started to heal itself; to be exact, time started to go backward, and it was like he was never cut in the first place.

"My left eye gives me the ability to return time backward for five seconds. Unfortunately, it seems that I can only use this ability on myself, and with my level of chakra, I can probably use it only three times a day before I run dry.

"Well, I should be satisfied. With these two abilities, my survival ability has greatly increased. Furthermore, my right eye ability has plenty of room for development, and I can use the way the Sorcerers fight as inspiration."

After testing his abilities, Akimitsu then headed in a specific direction. He first entered a room full of bodies in glass tanks full of green liquids. Without pause, he sealed all of them in a piece of paper.

He proceeded to go to the next room, which was full of scrolls. All these scrolls were in fact data that Akimitsu has gathered after many experiments. He took out all these scrolls and send them into the mirror dimension along with the previous bodies.

Following which, Akimitsu used a bunch of hand sign to activate all the seals he placed in this passageway/underground cave, which cause a massive explosion that buried everything, thus also erasing any evidence of Akimitsu's experiments.

Using the mirror dimension, he teleported himself back to his room, pretending that he never left in the first place. The first thing he did was to check the items he placed there, and he discovered that he could fetch them whenever he wanted and wherever he was located.

Nodding his head in satisfaction, Akimitsu closed his eyes. Then, he found himself in a black space full of orange dots. Some of them were brighter than the others, with one being particularly eye-catching with how bright it was.

Akimitsu sighed with a little melancholy. This thing was an innate gift that he discovered he had ever since he was transmigrated into their fictional world.

All these orange spots were actually planets, worlds, or dimensions with life in them. The Otsutsuki clan traveled across the universe in search of worlds with life in them to plant the Divine Tree and bear Chakra Fruits. Unfortunately, not all worlds have life on them, thus many clan members have to spend years, sometimes centuries, or more searching for life-bearing planets.

However, Akimitsu has a map with him that displayed all of these worlds. Unfortunately, he is not a true member of the Otsutsuki Clan and cannot best display the value of such an ability. At least for now.

After taking a brief moment to lament his situation, he headed for the brightest spot on this map, which was the Shinobi World. This time he was prepared to find a way for his next awaken; a way to awaken his Rinnegan.
