14 Butterfly-Effect

Orochimaru was in one of his hideouts, dissecting an Uchiha clan member. Suddenly, one of his snakes warned him of something and he turned around.

"It's you," he said as he looked at Akimitsu with the same strange mask.

"You don't seem too happy to see me."

"If you were me, would you?"

"You should be glad that I only erased your memory of the research. Otherwise, you would be dead by now. Plus, I'm sure you've found a way to retain some of the information. "

Orochimaru looked deeply at the person in front of him. Just like a decade ago, he felt powerless. His desire for the power of the Rinnegan suddenly increases: only by having similar power will he have a chance.

"Since you've come to see me, it means that you want something. What is it this time?"

"This is why I like to talk with smart people. I need you to bring me to the Ryuchi Cave."

"You want to learn Senjutsu?."

"That's correct."

"I have no problem, but the personality of the White Snake Sage is weird and eccentric, so I cannot guarantee that she will teach you."

"You do not need to worry about this."

After that, Orochimaru used a reverse summoning to bring both himself and Akimitsu to the Ryuchi Cave. After explaining the reason for his arrival, the snake in charge of receiving them told Akimitsu that he had to take a test before he could be allowed to learn Senjutsu.

After hearing this, he frowned as he pondered:

'Should I just killed these snakes and swallow their souls to read their memories? No, this is too risky. If I slaughter all of them, there is a chance that Mount Byoboku will take notice of this situation here. So, until I finish my Ancestral Awakening, I should still keep a low profile.'

Akimitsu nodded to the snake, then he went to go through the test.

In the first test, Akimitsu entered a foggy area. However, as soon as he entered a snake bit him. Soon after that, the fog started to change into a human shape, however, after a few minutes, nothing showed up.

'Was this suppose to show me the people I care about the most?' thought Akimitsu. Then, he walked to the next room. There he saw an illusion of money, power, and beautiful women. Nevertheless, he just ignored them.

Very easily, Akimitsu passed this test and met with the White Snake Sage. Unfortunately, her first words were: "I cannot teach you Senjutsu."

"And why is that?"

"An individual as heartless and power-hungry as you should not be allowed to wield the power of Senjutsu."

"Is that so? Unfortunately, I was not asking." His eyes instantly turned into the Mangekyou Sharingan and controlled the White Snake Sage.

However, immediately afterward, Akimitsu frowned as he felt that her resistance was beyond anything he felt previously.

"This should be the result of natural energy in her body. It seems that I have to hurry."

He immediately activated the Human Path of his Rinnegan and got the information he needed from her mind.

"I was correct. The Sages of the Shinobi World uses natural energy differently from the Sage Race. The way they used is more primitive, however, because chakra exists in this world and has been weaponized, they are way ahead of the Sage Race when it comes to using and manipulating Senjutsu Chakra."

Akimitsu then looked at the White Snake Sage that just woke up from the Genjutsu, then he immediately sent her into his Mirror Dimension.

Taking over this place for a while, he sat down to meditate. Unlike the White Snake Sage method of directly injecting natural energy into a person's body, the Sage Race developed a breathing and meditating method to sense and gather natural energy in the surrounding.

Akimitsu spend three days before he could learn to sense natural energy. Next came the part of mixing it with chakra. This part is one of the major differences between the Shinobi Sage and the Cosmic Sages that Akimitsu fought on planet Krizet.

Chakra is a mixture of spiritual energy and physical energy. Senjutsu Chakra can be achieved with the perfect mixture of spiritual energy, physical energy, and natural energy.

However, the method of the Cosmic Sages focused on the perfect balance of physical energy and natural energy, or the balance of spiritual energy and natural energy, not the balance of the three.

So, after introducing natural energy into his body, Akimitsu started to find the balance of the three. This process took him four days, and in the process, he came close many times to turn into a snake statue.

Fortunately, the Cosmic Sages have developed ways to expel natural energy from the body through breathing methods.

As such, on the 7th day, Akimitsu entered the Sage Mode. He created an ice mirror in front of him to look at his appearance. He looked similar to Mitsuki's Sage Mode, however, the aura surrounding him was red instead of green--just like his Tenseigan Chakra Mode.

He had a snake-like horn in the middle of his forehead, and Akimitsu quite like it as it reminded him of the Otsutsuki's horn.

"Now, I only need to find a way to be able to enter Sage Mode whenever I desire and found a way to acquire the power of Six Path Sage Mode," muttered Akimitsu.

He then retrieved the White Snake Sage from the Mirror Dimension, and with his new Sage Mode, he controlled her again and erased her memories of the recent event. He then did the same thing for all the snakes that saw him come here.

As for Orochimaru, Akimitsu did not kill him this time as well. For once, he knew this guy had many methods of survival and resurrection. More importantly, he might need his help again in the future.

After leaving Orochimaru, Akimitsu went to give his clone some orders, then he jumped to the future again. This time, it was the time of the Fourth Great Shinobi War.

Unfortunately for him, as soon as he met his clone, he received bad news.

"Obito lost one of the Rinnegan," said the clone.

"Who took it?" asked Akimtisu with a frown.

Author's Note: One thing that I want to point out is that Akimitsu is not a typical transmigrator or reincarnator. To be exact, he is a native of this world with strange memories in his mind. So, his personality, views, and aesthetic will not be like ordinary humans.
