She stood there looking down at the river below her she took a deep breath and murmured "forgive me" and jumped off the bridge into the river.

The only thing she thought about was " it has ended the pain, rejection, depression and loneliness".

Sierra lived with her now an alcoholic dad who turns her into a punching bag from his trips to the bar. Two years ago things weren't like this.

She won the district junior runner competition and had taken first place. Her mum took her and her again brother, Sage out for dinner to celebrate. Her father couldn't join them because he was on a business trip.

The road was quiet and dark, the sky looked cloudy and it seemed it was going to rain that night. We were singing, conversing and laughing in the car. Her mum was driving a little fast so that she could take them home and immediately report to the hospital since she had been called to perform a surgery that will commence in three hours.

They were taking a turn for the right on the road when her mum lost control and the car skidded off the road and collided into a tree in the bush on the left side of the road.

When she gained consciousness blood was oozing from her mother's head with her brother who was in the front passenger's seat head on the dashboard not responding to her calls she tried to get out of the car but couldn't move her legs.
