Chapter 2 - A New World

He was lost in his thoughts when suddenly he bumped into a strange thing and fell on the ground so hard that he fainted.When he regained his consciouness, he felt a sharp pain in his leg. He groaned and tried to stand up, but his leg buckled beneath him, and he fell back to the ground. He looked down and saw a deep gash on his leg that was bleeding profusely.

Panicking, he looked around for something to stop the bleeding. He noticed that his clothes were torn and dirty, and he had no first aid kit. He tried to remember his training in the Boy Scouts but realized that he had never learned how to treat a wound like this.

As he lay there, feeling helpless, he suddenly heard a soft rustling in the bushes nearby. He turned his head and saw a small, furry creature staring at him. The creature had bright blue eyes and a bushy tail, and he couldn't help but stare back at it.

The creature approached him slowly, he tensed up, unsure of what to expect. But to his surprise, the creature nuzzled against his hand and licked his wound. The pain immediately subsided, and He felt a warm sensation spreading through his body.

As he looked up, and noticed a girl with long, wavy hair watching him from behind a tree. She had a kind smile on her face and was wearing a simple tunic and pants. He couldn't help but feel grateful for her presence, and he nodded his head in thanks.

The girl walked towards him and inspected his wound. She pulled out a small pouch from her pocket and sprinkled some powder on the wound. He felt a cool sensation spreading through his leg, and the wound began to close up.

"Thank you," Kim Taehyung said to the girl. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

The girl smiled and extended her hand to help him. "My name is Hattie," she said. "Welcome to this world. You're going to need all the help you can get."

Kim Taehyung was still in shock. He had never seen a creature like the one that had licked his wound. And the fact that the girl had used magic to heal him only added to his disbelief.

"Magic?" He asked, as he examined his wound.

Hattie nodded. "Yes, magic. It's the foundation of this world."

He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Magic was something that he had only read about in books and seen in movies. He had never thought it could be real.

"How is this possible?" Kim Taehyung asked.
