Chapter 7 - Lola

I woke up with my legs tangled with Xander's. It was the first time sleeping together since i started living in the mansion. His tattoo was in full display, he was sleeping on his stomach making it easy for me to draw patterns all over the tattoo which covered his back. It was a dragon and its tail went to his belly button while is head was on his right shoulder making it look like it was crawling his back. My adventure was interfered by him waking up with a smile on his face, eyes still closed as he hovered over me and started to suck my neck making me moan. "I like that sound, it's heavenly", he said from my neck making me snake my arms on his neck ready to kiss his amazing lips when his door was slammed open with a guy coming in as if he owned the place making Xander groan with displeasure.

"Do you mind?", Xander asked not looking away from me, his voice full of anger. "Oh shit! I didn't know you had company, wait is this the girl you and dad were talking about?", he asked with excitement making me curious. "Fuck Nick, can you leave, Now!", it was deadly now. Nick took a hint and left closing the door behind him. "Am sorry, that was my young brother, he has, issues", he said pecking my lips, before i could answer my alarm went off. He released me with a promise to pick me up after work so i got ready and left.

The day was busy as usual. We did a couple of meetings with two new clients they were British and their accents drove me and Amanda insane, we talked about them the whole day. It was time for Amanda and the team to present Mr.Reeves' strategy for advertising as he planned to expand his company. He was one of the oldest clients, he was very charming. I went to welcome him from the reception to my surprise he was here with a younger version of him who was called Leo. He kept looking at me the whole time we were in the meeting even Amanda noticed it. "This is amazing Amanda, well done, i believe that this is the right time for me to inform you that i am stepping down and Leo will proceed with you, its high time i take my wife on a vacation, we haven't had those in ages", he said looking distant as if he was planning the whole vacation right in the middle of the meeting making me and Leo smile at the same time, when our eyes met i looked away immediately. I was someone's girlfriend and i was not about to flirt with him, he wasn't even my type, too innocent. Speaking of the opposite made my body shiver, the way Xander made me feel is still unbelievable. I enjoyed every part of it and to make it even more weird i want to do it again.

"Why was Leo flirting with you", Amanda asked me curiously as we walked back to her office. "Honestly i don't know, he is not my type anyway", my answer made her smile. "Will a certain Asian happen to be your type Lola?", her question made me blush. "Wait, are you guys together?", i couldn't form words so i nod my head. Her face lit up with happiness and it shocked me. "You know when i saw Xander at the hospital, he was devastated and i had a feeling it was because he had feelings for you, am just happy i was right", she explained making me blush.

I sat in my cube and started updating Amanda's schedule when a delivery man entered our floor with two bouquets of flowers red roses and the most beautiful orchids. "I have a package for Miss Rivers and McKall?", "that's us!", Amanda shouted from her office rushing forward to collect the roses leaving me to sign the deliver note. I knew she did that to avoid me seeing where flowers came from so i decided to focus on my own flowers, i opened a note that was attached to it to find the most sweetest message ever.

'A little birdie told me that orchids are your favourite,

I finished updating the schedules and joined the rest of the team in the final meeting for Mr. Reeves or should i say Leo's project. I was the first one to rush out of the meeting room because Xander texted me that he was waiting at my cube. He was in a suit that looked amazing on him. "Hi Baby girl, how was your day?", he asked kissing me on top of my head. "Hi Xander", i replied shyly because people coming from the meeting room including the hour glass figured accountants were looking at us. Xander followed my line of sight and saw who i was looking at before i knew it he had pulled me towards his chest kissing me like there was no tomorrow and i melted into him in a second making him deepen the kiss until someone cleared their throat making us pull away. "Mr. Tan, i see you have decided to make a scene in my office", she teased making Xander smirk, "just returning the favour, i mean am unable to look at my boardroom the same way after-", "Xander! i get it, you don't have to finish", Amanda rushed to make him stop then turned to the crowd. "Move along people, we have a deadline to meet", everyone started walking actively including me. I went to my desk and collected my stuff, leaving with Xander's hand on my butt. I think he likes that part more than the rest.

"So Lola, how do you find the food? I made it myself", Xavier said as i was having dinner with him and Xander for the first time. I was about to answer when Nick entered with a woman who was wearing all black, her clothes were too revealing but no one seemed to care so i played along. "Holy fuck! You didn't say that Lola was hot!", Nick said looking at me like i was a piece of meat making me feel uncomfortable until Xander's hand reached my thigh under the table making me calm. "Nick, do you mind being respectful and sitting down? Welcome Dana", Xavier's voice made Nick's body tense, it was like a switch was put off and suddenly he was a new person. Dana kept looking at Xander like she wanted to eat him up, it made me jealous considering she was ten times more gorgeous than i was and she looked strong. The type of woman that Xander was supposed to be with. I hardly knew anything, i was an assistant for crying out loud.
