1 Child Hood Ch 1

10th century

Klaus was playing tag with his best friend Aquarius Parker, he was six years old at the time, the same age as Aquarius, but he was a few months younger.

"Haha, you can't catch me!" Aquarius yelled out heartily, his tongue mockingly pointed at Klaus.

Aquarius was a quick runner for his age, he could bet kids two years older than him which Aquarius proudly honor.

"Slow down," Klaus yelled running at his top speed trying to catch his fast friend.

"That's not how the game works Nicholas," Aquarius yelled out but slowed down anyways.

As Klaus chased his best friend, Aries jumps out from behind a tree scaring the life of his twin brother and best friend.

"Ahhhhh!" Both Klaus and Aquarius yelled in panic.

"Haha, your faces were priceless," Aries laughed.

"That's not funny." Aquarius pouted at his older twin brother.

"Is so!" Aries defended as he smiled childishly at the two young boys.

"That why Aquarius is my favorite," Niklaus proclaimed, sticking out his tongue. Aries just shrugged his shoulders and walked up to the two.

"Your just mad," Aries said negligently, and it was true Klaus was just mad.

"Idiot," Klaus murmured seeming to go unnoticed by Aries.

"So brother, are you mad at me too?" Aries inquired with puppy dog eyes knowing that would easily get his brother to forgive him.

"I guess not," Aquarius replied clasping his hands together with a light blush panting his face.

"Oh, and were eating at Mr. and Mrs. Michaelson's house again," Aries notified the two with a smile.

As the trio walked into the field, they spotted a black wolf that was nestled into a ball watching the trio calmly.

"Look," Klaus uttered pointing out the wolf first. When the twins saw what he was pointing at, they instantly took interest in the specimen.

Slowly the trio walks towards the wolf who was calmly watching them as they inspected him.

They were less than five feet apart from the wolf when he finally decided to unravel himself from the ball and sit up in a sitting position.

The kids just stood there looking at the wolf in awe.

They slowly walked towards the wolf not seeing any signs the wolf wanted the opposite.

Klaus slowly raised his tiny hand to the wolf's raven black fur the twins following his actions soon after.

The wolf only closed its eyes allowing the kids to do what they please.

"Your so soft," the twin said in unison loving the wolf texture of the wolf fur. Soon, the wolf started licking the trio making them laugh.

"Your not so bad wolfie," Niklaus said as the wolf lick his face getting up on all fours.

"I'm gonna name you Ash!" Klaus said in a sing-song voice.

"Yeah, Ash is a great name!" Aquarius exclaimed excitedly hugging Ash's neck.

After a couple of minutes of them playing with Ash, they all decided it was time to go home.

"Let go back tomorrow and see if he's still there, ok?" Klaus asked the twins with a bright hopeful smile.

"Ok!" The twins answered in unison excitedly.

They all raced home cheering happily in content.

"Good afternoon Father," Klaus said formally knowing what his father what's him to say.

"Good morning Mr. Michaelson." The twins greeted him with a smile, Michael, Klaus's father nodded with a ghost of a smile.

"Good afternoon." Michael greeted, "You three should go spiraling with Elijah until supper is ready," Michael gestured with his hands. The trio nodded and speed-walked into the backyard.

"Elijah!" They all yelled seeing him spiraling his sword, practicing with non-visible people.

Elijah turned to see who called him and on seeing his little brother and two friends his smiled calmly.

"Hi. Did father tell you to come practice with me?" Elijah asked already knowing the answer. The trio simply shrugged picking up one of the swords that laid on the ground and getting into a fighting position without another say.

"Ha, okay then," Elijah said challengingly getting into his position as well. They were all smirking knowing.

There was a tantalizing silence, only the wind breaths of tension could be heard as they rustled through the leaves of the trees.

On the count of three, they all rush to each other swords pointed directly at their target with perfect precision.

Swords slashed together as glares were shot to their targets, each person ready to win.

Brother versus brother each going after each other, dodging hits and clashing swords, both equally as good.

The battle to win sparks a fire in each fighter.

Just as Klaus was about to strike a winner shot at Elijah, a young Rebecca yelled, "time for supper," causing Nicklaus's sword to come to a halt, the sword stopped just a couple inches away from his older brothers face.

With a groan, he turns to face his younger sisters and smiled.

"We're on our way," Nik yelled back.

They all put their swords up and walked into the dining area where everybody was sitting patiently.

They all got seated and eat their food.

It was the next day in the trio decided to go visit the black wolf again. They took the same route as they did the other day, and not long after the wolf was in the same spot as he was yesterday.

"Ash you're still here!" Nik shouted happily, running up to the wolf and hugging him.

The twins played with their new companion energetically as they let the wolf lick them.

Hours have passed since the trio found the wolf and they had been having the time of their lives ever since. It was 7:00 which means it was about time to go.

As they walked home they were all a bit disappointed to have to leave their new companion behind, but every day they would visit him.

~Four Years later~

The trio was walking in the field to go find Ash. Nobody knows about him besides the trio.

When they saw Ash he was laying down, but he seemed tense about something.

They walked up to the black wolf and they all cuddled up to his side laying their heads on his fur.

"Hey, guys?" Aries asked.

"Yeah?" Aquarius questioned turning his head to look at his older brother.

"It can of feels like someone's following is," Aries said calmly not bothered by that.

"Yeah, is probably just Henrik," Klaus said nonchalantly, his British accent having much more of a glow to it.

Klaus got up from his giant pillow fur going to look for his younger brother.

It took him only a couple of minutes to find him and drag him to the twins.

"H-hey let me go!" Henrik said shrugging to get out of his brother's grip.

"Why were you following us?" Klaus asked sternly.

"Because you three always leave in the broad of day and get back late at night!" Henrik admitted angrily his arms folded up in a cross.

"Well since you're here, there's nothing we can do about it," Klaus said, letting go of his brother with a shrug of his shoulder.

Ash looked at Henrik for a short while before deciding he was no danger to the trio.

"This is Ash," Aquarius said looking at how Hendrick was staring at the wolf curiously.

"Oh," Hendrick offered not exactly knowing what to say.

"You can pet him if you see fit, he not dangerous." Aries told him giving him the 'go-ahead look.' With that Hendrick slowly and cautiously touch the wolves "So soft," Hendrick said unconsciously in awe, his eyes glimmering with wonder.

Hendrick was the only one that found out about the black wolf, and that was the thing that saved him years later.

||Seven years later||

Hendrick was now 13 years old, he was outside with Klaus and the twins and it was a full moon. Nicklaus's father told them plenty of times never to venture out into the woods when it's a full moon, but this ceases to pass Hendricks's mind as he walked deeper into the wood as it was already nightfall.

"Hendrick you can't go out there if is a full moon!" The twins called out, but it was like white noises that Hendrick didn't bother to hear.

"Stop it dangerous out here!" Klaus tried to reason with his younger brother, but he just walked farther into the woods.

"Ugh! Your so persistent," Klaus said as he picked up his pace, grabbing his brother's arm harshly.

"It's a full moon and that means werewolves are out, let's go back." Klaus sternly leaving no room for objections, and just as there about to walk back towards their village, they heard vicious growling.

"Wolf's," the twin said in sync.

The older the twins got, people thought they were telepathic because every time they spoke it was synchronous and with the same inflection.

The entire crew stood paralyzed in fear, as the growling got louder the more the fear was visible in each child's eye was.

And just like that, a wolf threw himself at Hendrick bearing his teeth viciously, the wolf bit his left arm deeply. Hendrick screamed trying to throw the wolf off of his arm but to no such luck. The pain was visible on Hendrick's face as the wolf latched onto his arm not letting go.

Klaus ran over to a huge rock and threw it at the wolf. The wolf unleashed his teeth from Hendrix's arm in surprise, blood gushed out leaving Hendrick dizzy.

The wolf paid no bother to Klaus's attack and went back towards his first prey, and as he jumped he again latched his teeth on the side of his stomach and Hendrix screamed in pure agony.

It all happened so fast, the twins barely caught a glimpse as Ash zoomed by, crashing onto the slightly bigger wolf and latched his teeth onto his neck growling atrociously.

The larger wolf howled in affliction.

"Let's go!" The twin said and unison as the trio crouch down to pick up Hendrick's unconscious body.

He was bleeding a lot, and if they didn't hurry Hendrick would die out here.

"Mother, Father!" Nicolas called out panicked as the twins helped carried his younger brother towards the village.

Everybody rushed towards Hendricks's aid quickly. When Esther laid eyes on her youngest son her eyes began to water.

"What happened?" Esther asked agitated looking at her badly bruised son who wouldn't stop bleeding.

"Werewolves," the twins said as tears sparkled in their eyes.

Every Michael says sibling was crying at the side of their little brother.

"Give him inside, we can still save him!" Michael ordered stomping out of the house frantically, the trio immediately did as he asked without hesitation and brought him into the house.

Gently and slowly they lowered him down on the floor, he was still breathing, but just barely.

"Do the spell!" Michael yelled at Esther, his wife.

Esther begins chatting words directed to her youngest son Hendrick. Slowly his heart rate slow down towards his normal speed and his breathing became regular again, but he didn't wake up.

"He's in a stable condition, but if this spell breaks he'll..... he'll die."
