Chapter 2

Kalus reaches the place to meet the witches with Elijah. They arrive to the witches cemetery. Their stood Hayley and Sophie. They tell him about Hayley being pregnant and carrying his child. All this made Klaus very angry. How can this people make such lies but he feels a bit of hope in his heart for that to true but he steels himself from that and says

"That's impossible. Vampires can't procreate."

Elijah also puts his input

"I said the same thing."

Sophie explains that him being a werewolf too made him a able to procreate. Klaus found that explanation very promising but he stopped that and screamed at Hayley

"You admit. You have been with someone else."

Hayley couldn't believe someone like Klaus existed.

"Hey, I've spent days held captive in a freaking alligator bayou because they think that I'm carrying some magical miracle baby. Don't you think I would've fessed up if it wasn't yours?"

Sophie gave a very good reason at the start.

"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us. We can keep them save. Or we can k*ll them. If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress." That became very threatening at the end.

Hayley asked worriedly for she has heard wrong

"Wait, what?"

Elijah gre tired of this bickering and said curtly

"Enough of this. If you want Marcel dead it's done. I will do it myself."

Sophie quickly stopped that thought and told

"No. We can't, not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow, and there are rules."

Elijah quickly looked at Kalus waiting for his reaction

Klaus was fumming with much anger at this point.

"How dare you command me, threaten me, with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses. I won't hear any more lies."

Elijah couldn't just let him do that. He spoke only word that would let him see real Klaus. So, he eyes Hayley's belly and spoke.

"Nikluas! Listen."

Klaus hear a small heartbeat. He faltered for a moment but then composed himself and shouted.

"Kill her and the baby. What do I care?"

After that Klaus leave the place and Elijah tells witches to give him sometime. So, he can convince Klaus. Saying this he rans after Kalus.

Klaus speaks the first

"Its a trick Elijah."

Elijah gives his all sharing wisdom to Kalus and says

"No brother it's not a trick but a gift.To start over. Take back everything we lost, everything that was taken from us. Niklaus, our own parents came to despise us. Our family was ruined – we were ruined. And since then, all that you have ever wanted – all that we have ever wanted was a family."

"I will not be manipulated by those witches."

Saying this Kalus vam-speeds out of there but Elijah comes in front of him and says hoping his stubborn brother would understand.

"So they're manipulating you. So what? With them, this girl and her child – your child – live."

Klaus speaks very menacingly

"I am gonna kill every last one of them."

He drives Elijah put of the way again but Elijah again comes in front of him and asks

"And then what? Then you return to Mystic Falls to resume your life as the hated one, as the evil hybrid? Is it so important to you that people quake with fear at the sound of your name? Or do you want to embrace this child and feel the love of the family?"

Saying this Elijah places his hand on Kalus' shoulder. Klaus looks a bit more humane now but he quickly regains whatever he is and says NO and leave there.

Just as Elijah was about to leave he sensed a presence.

"Whoever you are come out there. I am not in mood to play games."

Timothy came out of hiding while whistling.

"Hehe, I was wondering when you would notice me. Just wanted to see if the original is all bark or real deal."

Elijah straightened himself and spoke

"Who am I Speaking to?"

Timothy smiled and introduced himself

"I am Timothy Declour, I have come here to help to just give a heads-up."

Elijah frown at that and motion for Timothy to continue

"Well, you see there is a binding spell that can bind two person's life to each other."

Elijah frowned and said slowly

"If you are just going to tell me what is binding spell then you best stop there."

Timothy chuckled at the tone of Elijah

"Well I was just going to continue but I best not waste time of an Original.You see I am consider somewhat of a expert at breaking those. That's all I am going to say. If you need me then meet me near the River."

Then Timothy left like he wasn't even there like an illusion. Elijah thought how was he able to use magic and why tell about that binding spell.

Elijah had more pressing matter. So, he returned to the cemetery and there he heard a witch say

"What makes you think you can control the hybrid?"

Elijah speaks at that time and asks a question that is in his mind for a while.

"She can't. I'm not entirely certain that I can, either. But now that your coven has drawn his ire, I have a question: What prevents my brother from murder you instead of cooperating?"

Sophie at that just extend her hand and make cuts her left hand the blood begins to drop at the same time Hayley screams grabbing her left hand and at the same spot she has a blood dropping from the hand.

"The spell my sister performed, the one that got her killed? It didn't just confirm the pregnancy. It linked me to Hayley. So anything that happens to me, happens to her, which means her life is in my hands. Klaus may not care about his own child, but it's very clear what it already means to you. If I have to hurt Hayley – or worse – to ensure that I have your attention, I will."

Elijah slightly amused asks

"You would dare to threaten an Original?"

Sophie replies with much no emotions.

"I have nothing to lose.You have until midnight to get Klaus change his mind."

Elijah then reminded of the guy who talked about binding spell. He went near the River where he was told to meet him. He went there then a guy came out of the woods and the guy spoke

"So, I take it you need a binding spell expert?."

Elijah speaks up.

"Who are you? How did you know that I will need you?"

Timothy just shrugs

"Well that is because I knew witches plan and well I could help you in by gaining a favour and a thing from you."

Elijah nods him to continue

"Well you see what I need a spell from your mother's grimoer. Which is about something like how to break a hex. As for that favour I will ask later."

Elijah's face grim darkly at that he sighs and accept the weighs and gains but warns

"I will do that but if the favour is out of my ideals then i would not do it. If that's acceptable then we can continue."

Timothy accepts that and says

"Well then you should bring the girl from the cemetery to your house I will be there. The witches there you would find a bit hallucinating."

Elijah just nods and runs to reach the cemetery as fast as he can, there he find witches doing weird things like dancing, talking loudly, running, He quickly went to find Hayley. Hayley looks at Elijah and asks

"What's happening Elijah?"

Elijah calmly replies "Don't worry Hayley. I am here to take you to safety, I promise over my life that no harm will come to your baby or you."

Hayley just nods her head in acceptance as Elijah carries her with ease and starts heading back towards his house.
