16. Gathering Knowledge

Once in Silicon valley, after my house elves constructed a rudimentary underground base, I spent a few days preparing, and scoping out the surrounding situation.

As I went further and wider in searching, I found three of my targets, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and finally Steve Wazniack. These people were some of the smartest and creative people of the current time, in their chosen field of computer skills, and knowledge.

So after days of scouting, I finally got their locations, and went undetected while I copied their memories, very careful not to damage their minds, because I was looking gladly looking forward to the time of computers.

I even wanted to insert a slight mind compulsion in them to move up their plans, and ideas. Yet I decided against it, because even if it started out as a small change, it could grow into a big one. Such as they pitch their idea and get shot down, and after multiple tries, they get discouraged and quit.

This could make it so they never make personal computer a wide spread thing, or make it so personal computers were delayed and they happen years later than the original time, they would of been introduced.

After doing this, I then searched the rest of the new surrounding areas for places of knowledge. After another year I was able to get another massive amount of memories, I could gladly get more, but I had way too many.

Before I came to America, I had alot of memories to study, and I had barely made a dent, in this past year, but here I was adding another huge amount of memories.

The amount of memories I had stockpiled to be later studied and sorted was massive, and I would not be surprised if it took me many years to work my way through them all. Unless I found a better way, for right now, viewing then as memories was much much faster than simply reading a book.

I had spent one year preparing for Voldermort's attack, one year learning the first year basic magic knowledge from Hogwarts, and one year in Britain collecting memory knowledge, and another year in America collecting memory knowledge.

I was now a four year old, and my will, mind, and magic combined may have accelerated my growth a bit, because my body, was the size of a five or six years old. This could also be an unconscious use of magic, seeing as how almost every time I returned to my body from astral form, I immediately felt stifled and wanted to grow up faster. It could also have something to do with the fact that I always took an adult form when astral projecting out of my body too.

Also after two more years of daily training and the growth of my body my stats had once again improved. So I updated my mental stats list.

I knew it wasnt a perfect reflection of my stats but I could sense it was close. After updating my mental stats page, and storing it back in my mind, I focused back on my plans and thoughts.

For now I could start my physical training. I had acquired a great deal of memory knowledge on physical fitness, and fighting techniques. Yet just like my past life, most of the knowledge I had gathered from non magical fighting experts in Britain and America, the techniques and knowledge they and their pre-cursors had gained, came mostly from the Continent of Asia.

Which means eventually I would need to go there to see if they had deeper and greater knowledge, since they had been practicing and honing the physical form of fighting and training their body's for countless ages before.

The other continents and nations had some of their own home grown fighting styles, yet there was just something about Asia that made it seem like the home of true martial arts. For many of the other nation's home grown fighting styles were derived or just plainly stolen and then modified a bit, and then they changed the name to something to fit that nations culture.

For now though I would once again visit Bill Gates, Steve Wazniack and Steve Jobs to get a years worth of knowledge from them each. Then I would be on my way to my home base Wizards Cave #1, after returning and resting, I would then go from there, I had not decided what to do, I might go on vacation, a walk about, or just find a suitable place in the wild to train my magic and body, while absorbing the years of memory knowledge I had gained.

On the trip home I did some thinking, I like to think of myself as a hermit, who rarely ventured out into the masses, but as humans, we are social animals. Luckily I had my house elves to keep me company, and they were very agreeable to whatever I wanted. Yet if I did go into another round of isolated training, it might be better to go out, and socialize before, just to get it out of my system.

Yet this brought problems, for one I was a child, so I would have to socialize, with children, which I would not, or I would have to find a way to alter or disguise myself as an adult.

I could also just simply abduct a group of people, use my magic to make them calm and think they were invited there, for a social gathering, and then simply erase there memories when I returned them to their places. I wouldn't do this either, because honestly it just sounded desperate, and kind of creepy.

I know I had copied massive amounts of peoples memories, or stolen, but that was for knowledge. Yes I did invade their mind and violate their privacy, but they were non the wiser, they didn't even know it happened, I know it doesn't make it right.

Yet I had long ago decided to put myself and what I needed above all others, when I had been born in this world. I know it's not right or ethical, but it would help me survive and grow stronger, that was all that was important, that mattered.

Just as I was done, with my thoughts, I returned to Wizard Cave#1, underneath the Dursley's, did my nightly training, and then went to sleep normally.

The next morning I awoke tired from my journey back to Britian and my first home base. I used my will and magic and visualized it flowing all throughout my body, and once again was flooded with energy and in an alert state. After letting myself settle down from the rush of energy, I got up and started to stretch my body, then did my morning training.

After I was done with my morning routine, I then decided on my future goals, it was pretty stupid of me to take a piece of paper in my mind and make a mental stats page when I had magic, so I decided to find a way to fix that. Also I had too much knowledge that I needed to learn so I decided to continue my training of my magic and body but also focus on making that knowledge mine.

[Six Years Later]

It took me six years to assimilate all that knowledge, thanks to my foresight of storing it all in my mind or it would have taken much longer.

I had all the theoretical knowledge, but very little practical use of it, so that was my next step, thankfully my magic has strengthened as I have grown older and thanks to my training routine.

I had also found the solution to my 'fake' mental stats page as I had started calling it. It was my medical knowledge of the human body both magical and mundane. Combining the knowledge of the human body with the magic spell of Medical Diagnosis I was able to scan my body completely and using a projection spell, that only I could see, I was able to mimic the blue screens of a gamer, sadly I was only able to see my stats and nothing else.

I named my new spell; Medical Magic Body Scan: Stats.

Lengthy I know but it was a reminder to myself that it was only due to medical knowledge and magic that I was able to see my stats at all, and that this was much more inferior to the real thing, and to remind myself that I need to do better and improve it eventually.

For Short I was able to use Body Scan: Stats, in Latin of course, thankfully I knew so many languages now my mind could automatically translate any language I know into English, as that was my first language. It was a nice surprise, but I knew it wasn't perfect & was limited by my knowledge, and it could be improved.

Finally I cast the spell and I was able to see my stats but there had been some changes.

After reading my new stats spell, I realized that I needed far more knowledge when it came to the Mind, Will, and Soul.

Even my magical knowledge was limited to the ministry approved Hogwarts curriculum spells.

All the theoretical knowledge of magic I have now, will still need to be put to use in real life to find the most practical use of it, and to know I'm actually able to cast those spells 100 %(percent) of the time, and with no side effects. This would still take many years, but compared to the rest of the Wizarding sheep, I was still pretty far ahead, but that was only comparing myself to children, and young adults. I'm sure some of the adult Wizards are just as knowledgeable if not more than me, such as Voldermort and Dumbledore, and especially Nicolas Flamel and his Wife.

Nicolas Flamel and his Wife have hundreds of years of Knowledge, of theoretical and practical use, I knew they could easily dispatch of me, if they so choose.

For now I had 1 more year left until my Hogwarts years start, so I needed to focus on how I was going to make an indistinguishable copy of myself, I was thinking a golem or a clone in which I share my consciousness or mind with, I could already do this with my astral form, now I just needed an actual body for it to inhabit, but since my time was limited, I would have to be a bit more darker to speed up the process of getting myself a body.

I had my house elf's find a muggleborn orphan who was either damaged in the mind or had done some evil acts, it took them some time, but they finally located one. Sadly it was a little girl who had been her mind broken from repeated abuse, which means I would need to do a bit more work, but a couple months later I was ready.

To prepare myself I had my house elf bring me 10 murderer's from prison, who had a chance of parol. After much sacrifice, I was able to embed a small magical device, designed after the insulin pump, in the only living test subject which would periodically administer a dose of my improved polyjuice potion, which would last 48 hours now. I was not able to do a permanent human transfiguration yet.

I thought about transferring the mind of the muggleborn child into that body and giving it a new life, but I did not know enough about the soul to know if I transferred the mind, if it would transfer the soul or vice versa, or I would just create an abomination with the mind and body of a little girl.

So I steeled my heart and mind, telling myself at least I rid the world of 10 ppl who would harm many or kill many more lives, and finally went with my final experimental operation, I used a bit of my polyjuiced clones blood marrow to give my blood protection to the girl, I then installed the polyjuice device in the subjects body, which now resembled mine perfectly, then I stopped the subjects heart for a couple minutes, after which I cast soul detection spell, then an exorcism spell, then the soul detection spell once again.

After confirming the soul was gone, started the heart again, and used a medical diagnosis spell to see that the body was in perfect shape. I kept the body hook up to the machines for a couple of days while I practiced my astral clone projection until I was able to make two astral clone projections and maintain it easily, this was much easier to accomplish because of my older age, and improved magical power.

Finally I sent one of my astral clones into the body of my new polyjuiced clone, which I had taken to calling it as the living golem ritual. My astral clone entered the living golem and after a few seconds, it's eyes opened and it slowly got used to the new body and finally stood up and looked at me and said "Hello World."

I of course knew what my clone would say as I was him, and he was me. I looked back at my clone and told it "Good one, but this is unnecessary as are minds are one, and thought speech is faster, although the idea of introducing you to the world as my twin, just so we can pull a Fred and George Twin Speak joke is hilarious, it would make Dumbledore paranoid, as he knows we have no twin."

My Clone responded with a simple nod as verbal communication was unnecessary. It had taken me 6 months to invent and produce a living golem, with time I could make more, but I already had my original body, my astral clone, and my second astral clone, that is possessing my living golem. For now three bodies with one mind would be enough.

Seeing the benefits though of more clone bodies which gave me more mental flexibility as a could now do 3 things at once in 3 different locations, I decided I needed to focus more on the study of the Mind and Soul.

For now though I finish testing my golem clones body and find it can live separately from my astral clone, it will just be brain dead, but still breath and function for at least a couple days, because I chose not to test it's limit further. It could also enable my astral clone to recover it's magic faster when inhabiting it.

So with that done my original body and my two clones decided to focus on the knowledge of the soul, as I was getting wary of Voldermort's soul anchor and it's increasing soul corruption. I would need to solve this problem by the fourth year of Hogwarts, and test if it gives me any advantages or disadvantages while Voldermort's in wraith form or when confronting him in the first and second years of Hogwarts.

I had one idea that would definitely solve my problem, but would need lots of testing and experimentation, yet sadly I could not safely get my hands on a test subject until my third year in Hogwarts.
