116 Utterly Disgusting
Rem stared at the two living beings that were tied up in the back of the wagon. They were both unconscious and bleeding. Rem assumed that the two living beings were both females. One seemed like they were around 8 years old while the other seems like they're around Rem's age. Maybe even a little younger.
'I think I know what was going on...' Rem sighed in disbelief.
She untied them as she inspected their stats.

'The higher leveled girl seems older. They're both severely injured... I should have healed them first...!' Rem scolded her dumb self and used her healing skill on both of them.
Slowly, their injuries began to heal. In less than a minute, all their injuries were gone except for the previous scars on them.
'I can heal, but I can't get rid of their past scars. At least not yet.'
Rem laid the two of them on the grass. Rem stepped on the man's stomach, causing him to regain his consciousness.
"Guhhh..." The man groaned.
His brows furrowed, trying to feel his hands, but he couldn't since his hands were already chopped off by Rem.
"Ahhhhh!!!" The man yelled.
His eyes widened, seeing Rem's face. He finally remembered what had happened.
"P-Please spare me! I didn't do anything wrong... I didn't do anything wrong...!" The man claimed, begging Rem to leave him alive.
"What happened?" Rem asked coldly.
Although she already has an idea of what had happened, she decided to ask anyway.
"W-We were traveling to Leroy City! This way to Leroy City is faster, so we used this route. But then, we encountered those ogres! You see, don't you? The wagon is broken and my friends' corpses are on the ground... I-I told you everything, so please let me live!!!" The man pleaded.
"Is that so?" Rem raised one of her brows.
"Explain to me why those two girls are in your wagon, all tied up." Rem pointed at the two girls laying on the ground.
"T-They..." The man began to sweat.
"They what? Speak properly." Rem demanded, staring at the man with her piercing eyes.
"I-I did nothing wrong! It was t-them! They were the ones who kidnapped those children!!!" The man pointed at the dead people near the wagon.
'I hate liars. Especially someone like him who betrays others! I already know he's involved. Does he think I'm a fool?' Rem could feel anger rise inside her.

"What are you planning to do to them?" Rem asked, trying to calm herself down.
'Were they going to sell them? It's highly possible...'
"Yes, they held my family captive... I had no choice but to kidnap them!!! They said they were going to sell her to a slave auction! I beg of you, please spare me! I have a wife and two kids at home...!" The man yelled.
He was on his knees, trembling while bowing to Rem.
'This is utterly disgusting. He just had to spew these lies in my face.'
"Tell me the exact location you guys were going to bring them to and the name of the slave auction."
"Y-Yes, of course! The auction is underground, in the Northeast part of Leroy City. There are many slave traders there too. I've told you everything... Everything..." The man muttered, finally looking up at Rem.
Rem saw the man's crying face filled with snot. He kept on pleading for Rem to spare him.
'I wonder what other bad things he did? He must have ruined so many peoples' lives... At least he's telling the truth this time. I better get rid of him before he becomes more bothersome in the future.' Rem stared at the man, pondering whether or not she should kill him.
{You probably already know, but I'll tell you anyway. He kidnaps children and sells them to slave traders.}
'Yes, I figured that out a while ago.' Rem looked at the man one last time in disgust.
She covered Alex's eyes before decapitating his head mercilessly. The attack was so fast that the man couldn't even scream.
The man's head immediately flew off.
「Master, why didn't you use me?」
'Sorry, Cynric. I didn't want to dirty you. That living being isn't even human. Whatever he's doing isn't human at all.' Rem explained.
「Indeed, Master. He's shouldn't be worthy of being slain by you.」
'I don't think I'm worth that much, am I?'
「Don't be so pessimistic, Master.」
'I'm pessimistic? Haha, maybe...' Rem faced Alex.
"Alex, let's get going. You did well today. Good job!" Rem stopped covering Alex's eyes.
She walked towards the wagon which was surrounded by dead bodies. She carried the two unconscious girls in her arms.
"Can you walk by yourself? If not, I can carry you too." Rem suggested, facing Alex.
"I can. I'm strong!" Alex claimed.
Rem smiled slightly, using her shadow flames to burn the wagon and bodies. Rem ran towards the elven kingdom a little slower than usual as Alex followed from behind, trying his best to keep up with her.
