62 The Boss Here Is A Gigantic Gorilla..?

The group of 5 entered the main boss room. The boss that was inside was enormous. It was as tall as a small apartment building that has 4 floors.

'You've got to be kidding me...' Rem thought.

"Yukino! You are in charge of healing and giving us buffs! Don't get close to the boss. Karina! You can attack the boss from afar. Yukio and Kaito, come with me!" Rem commanded.

The members did what they were told. Rem inspected the boss's stats.

'A level 100 boss??? How can a level 100 boss exist in a level 35 to 50 portal? How..?' Rem did not expect the boss to be level 100.

'I guess it can't be helped...' Rem dashed towards the boss using her full speed.

Her daggers were already equipped and she was ready to fight. In a split of a second, Rem appeared in front of one of the boss's arms. The boss was holding a huge spiky club in its right hand. Despite its size, its speed was abnormal. It swung its club at Rem.

'This boss is quite fast... But it's but not as fast as me..!' Rem thought, dodging the attack.

Rem got closer to the boss's wrists and used her daggers, trying to cut the boss's arm wrist off.

Instead of cutting the boss's wrist off, Rem's daggers shattered.

'...Oh, shoot!' Rem dodged another one of the boss's swings of its club.

When Kaito and Yukio tried slashing off the boss's legs, Yukio's weapon shattered as well. Kaito's weapons, however, did not break since he always applies fire magic to his weapons every time he's in a battle.

'I should have applied my magic on my blades! I thought using sword energy was enough... I guess it wasn't..!' Rem backed away from the boss.

It took a while for Yukino to figure out how to use her new buff skill. After a while, she finally figured out how to do so.

'Great!' Rem decided to use her new dark flames skill.

When she was about to attack the boss, the boss suddenly stomped its feet. The ground shook and everywhere was now covered in ice. Karina was trying to find the perfect time to attack the boss. So far, she hadn't found a chance yet.

'WHAT???' Rem's speed decreased by half of her original speed.

The boss created a few dozens of large ice spikes. The spikes were aimed at everyone. To buff the others, Yukino should never move. If she did, she would have to start casting another buff. Unfortunately, the spikes were very dangerous and it was also aimed at Yukino. Everyone had to dodge all the spikes.

'This boss is strong..!' Rem began dodging the spikes.

Due to Rem's speed, Rem was able to dodge all the spikes except for the last one. Before the spike hit Rem, Rem activated her Phantom skill. Rem's body turned into shadows when the spike 'pierced' her.

'That was close...' Rem sighed.

'Too bad this boss has good vision, unlike all the other Giants. I mean, it's understandable since that dude's the boss of this place..!' Rem thought.

Rem looked at the other members.

'They seem to be fine.' Rem inspected the boss's stats again.

"Yukio!!! Don't use any ice magic!" Rem yelled in her earpiece.

'Oh, no...' Rem glanced at the boss's stats.

'Just great... Using ice magic heals and gives the boss more MP!' Rem groaned.

"For now, protect Yukino and Karina to the best of your abilities." Rem told Yukio.

"Got it," Yukio replied, running towards his twin sister and Karina.

Kaito the boss's right wrist. He successfully made the boss drop his club. Karina took this chance and aimed for one of the boss's eyes. The arrow she used had her wind magic on them, making it razor sharp. The arrow hit the boss's left eye, causing his eye to bleed. Green blood oozed out from the boss's left eye.

"KWEECHHH..!"

The boss screamed in pain. Yukio activated her buffs again.

[Buff Is Activated! All Stats Has Increased By 20%!]

Rem used her dark flames and attacked the boss. The flames surrounded the boss and all the ice that was near the dark flames all melted.

"KWEEECHHHHH!!!"

The boss used its fists and slammed the ground. The ground shook and it was covered in ice once again. This time, the boss created a blizzard. Everywhere is covered in snow and ice.

{The boss's stats have increased by 20% due to this icy and snowy terrain, you know?}

'Yes, I know! I can see..!' Rem used Flame Storm skill and combined her dark flames to this attack.

All the ice and snow melted again, the dark flame storm injured the boss in the process.

Rem checked the boss's stats.

"I should really learn how to heal as well..." Karina sighed softly.

"It's alright. I can heal you." Yukino healed all of Karina's wounds in a few seconds.

"Kaito! Show me your injuries." Yukino demanded.

Kaito showed her his injured, bleeding arm.

"Gosh! How can you be so careless???" Yukino scolded Kaito.

"He got injured when he protected me by blocking one of the boss's attacks..! I feel guilty..." Karina stated.

"It's fine," Kaito answered.

Yukino healed Kaito's injuries. It took a few minutes.

"We should go now. The portal's right there. This world's going to perish really soon. Let's get going." Rem said, walking towards the portal.

"Okay!" Yukino followed Rem while Yukio was next to Yukino.

"Thanks and sorry..." Karina whispered to Kaito.

Karina and Kaito caught up with the rest. The group of 5 finally left the portal.
