She searched for the entrance to the underground area on the map.

The trapdoor has a lock on it. Effortlessly, Rem broke the lock and opened the trapdoor. The door made a creaking noise and opened slowly. Surprisingly, the door was quite heavy. As the door opened, Rem could see a set of stairs going down. She walked down the stairs and arrived at a place filled with pipes and gears.
'What is this? A factory?' Rem explored the area, killing everyone that attacked her.

The deeper underground Rem walked, the more she could sense how dangerous it was.

"Hey! You over there!!! What are you doing here? Are you new?" A man in black and red clothes asked, walking towards Rem.
Rem wasn't in her disguise this time.

"I just got here." Rem replied.
"Hm... The boss never said anything about this. You look very young. Are you perhaps the boss's daughter?" The man asked, looking at Rem closely.
'Daughter? Their boss has a daughter?'
"What do you think?"
"I mean, you look around her age..."
'Oh, I get it.'
"How dare you talk to me like that. Do you not know respect? What do you think will happen if I tell father about your behavior?" Rem said, acting everything out.
"To make sure, show me your ice abilities." The man demanded.
'Ice abilities? I thought I was the only one with ice abilities.'
Rem used her killing intent and ice magic. In an instant, the air became cold and everything around Rem turned into ice.
"I-I'm sorry, young miss. I was wrong." The man bowed respectfully.
He seemed scared for his life.
"Lead the way."
"Ah, yes. Of course, young miss. The boss must have told you to take a look at how our project was going. This way, please." The man guided Rem.
The two went lower underground. Finally, they arrived at a lab. there were monster bodies in cylinder tubes that were the size of an adult human man.
'What the... Just what are they doing??? Are they creating a new kind of monster?'
"This is the result of our research. It isn't finished yet. We just need a little more time." The man stated, pointing at the humongous cylinder with a creature sleeping in it.
Behind it was a huge, dark, crimson orb. It was twice the size of the large creature inside the cylinder.
"Explain to me what's happening here in detail."
"Of course. We are creating creatures as ordered by our boss. This is probably our most successful project." The man said, smiling proudly.
'What are they going to do with these creatures..?'
"You two over there! What are you doing?" Another man in black and red asked.
'Wasn't he the man I saw the other day? Oh, no...'
"It's you! What are you doing??? Get her!" The man ordered.
"What? But she's the boss's daughter!" The man next to Rem argued.
"Are you kidding me? She's the person who's the most wanted by our boss! Get her now!!!" The man Rem saw the other day yelled.
'I'm busted...'
Rem used her martial arts and chopped the back of the man's neck from behind. The man became unconscious and fell to the ground.
"Tch. Useless!" The other man standing ran to the orb.
He pulled the lever.
"Good luck getting out of this!" The man laughed, teleporting away.
The ground began to rumble.
'What's happening???'
The creature inside the humongous cylinder filled with a kind of green water substance awoken and broke the glass.
"REEEEEK!!!"
The creature looked like an overgrown, green lizard that could walk on two feet. It has the arms and legs of a lizard that could swim underwater. The creature looked around with its dark, yellow eyes. It noticed Rem but it ignored her. Instead of attacking Rem, it brushed teh ground and dug straight down.
'It can dig???'
*BOOMMMMM!!!
The orb began to turn larger and larger. The floor began to crack.

'There's nowhere to hide... I can only do this. This is the only way!' Rem jumped inside the hole the creature made.

As Rem fell inside the hole, chuncks of rock fell too. Rem tried using her shadow magic but she couldn't.
