28 Inside A Dungeon, There's...

Rem and Karina were teleported to a dungeon.

"It seems we are teleported to a cave..." Rem said, looking around her surroundings.

"You're right."

*GRRR!!!

"Monsters..! Get ready to fight!" Rem took out her daggers.

'What are those..? Some type of dog-like creature?' Rem inspected one of the dogs.

[Element: Shadow]

'Corrupted? Is that why all of them are around level 45 and so abnormally strong??!' Rem was shocked.

'002, can you explain what these purple anonymous auras are?

"Karina! Be careful... I'll get rid of all the wolves! You can use your wind magic to do some damage to them." Rem used shadow chains on all the wolves.

One of the wolves broke the chains and attacked Karina from behind.

"AHHH!!!" Karina screamed in pain as the wolf bit her on the shoulder.

Rem rushed to Karina and used Lightning Bolt on the wolf who attacked Karina. The Wolf became stunned.

"Wait over there for a few minutes. I'll defeat these wolves..."

Rem quickly slashed the wolf's head off using her daggers. She easily took care of all the wolves.

"I don't think we can get back to our dorm rooms today. We're going to spend the night here. I'll create some traps. Don't worry about food, water, or sleeping supplies because I've got that covered." Rem began to search for the supplies she needed in the shop.

"You have food? I still have this one sandwich left." Karina said.

"Wait what??!" Rem realized everything in the shop was raw.

"Ummm... Do you know how to cook? I only have raw stuff..."

"Why would you bring raw food? Haha, you're funny." Karina laughed.

"Uhhh... To preserve the food..?" Rem quickly thought of an excuse on the spot.

"Yeah, sure. Anyway, I do know how to cook. You have cooking supplies?"

"Yup, I do. You can cook..." After buying all the supplies from the shop, Rem handed it all to Karina.

"Wow... Your storage sure is large. Don't tell me... Remie, you don't know how to cook??!" Karina asked.

"... You know how to cook so why don't you do it? I'll just create some traps in this dungeon..." Rem looked away from Karina, embarrassed.

Although Rem was intelligent, she was never good at cooking. This was one of Rem's flaws.

"Alright, alright. I can't believe you can't cook!!!" Karina tried her best to not laugh.

"Shut up..." Rem's face was flushed red.

*PFTTTT!!!

Rem glared at Karina.

"Okay, okay... I'll stop laughing..!" Karina prepared to cook some food.

"You better..." Rem got to work.

"You're quite good at cooking, Rina." Rem was full of the delicious meal she ate.

"Of course I am." Karina smiled proudly.

"By the way... I finished putting all the traps up before eating. Here! I have a few sleeping bags." Rem handed Karina a sleeping bag.

"You stored all that in your storage??? Just how large is your storage??!" Karina asked, curiously.

"I have no idea." Rem shrugged.

"Okay, whatever. Let's go to sleep right now so we can wake up earlier tomorrow and get out of here earlier." Karina laid in her sleeping bag.

"We have a long day ahead of us right now. Goodnight..." Rem drifted off to sleep.

"Goodnight..." Karina fell asleep almost instantly too.

"Remie! Wake up!!!" Karina finished cooking breakfast.

"It smells good... Let's eat quickly and get ready to fight." Rem got up and stretched.

"Here you go. This is Karina's delicious egg and bacon dish!!!" Karina handed Rem a portion of the breakfast she cooked.

"Everything you cook is delicious!" Rem smiled.

'This is way better than raw monster meat...'

After eating breakfast, Rem and Karina continued to find the boss in the dungeon.

After a few hours of trying to find the boss, they finally arrived at the entrance to the boss room. Karina gained 5 levels while Rem didn't gain any EXP since she needs to evolve first before she can level up more.

Rem looked at Karina's status.

'Her status isn't bad... Too bad I can't gain any more levels... I need to evolve first. Anyway, what are those things..?' Rem and Karina his behind the dungeon wall.

"This must be the boss room but... What are these..?" Rem asked, confused.

"I'm not sure..." Karina was also confused.

Rem look at the statues guarding the boss door. She inspected the two statues.

"They are both level 60s..." Rem whispered to Karina.

"They are??? Oh, no... What should we do..?" Karina was worried.

"It's fine... I have a plan! I'll get rid of one of the statues. Is it possible for you to distract the other one?" Rem asked.

"Alright, I'll distract the other one..." Karina distracted one of the statues by using her wind magic.

The wind spells barely did any damage to the statue but it managed to make the statue focus on Karina. Meanwhile, Rem was busy trying to defeat the other statue. She tried using all her spells but none of them hurt the statue.

'How am I going to defeat this..?' Rem searched if there were any weaknesses on the statue.

'Ah-ha! There it is..!' Rem found an orb located above the statue's chest.

Rem tried to destroy the orb but the statue was protecting it.

'Dammit! I'll first cut off its arms..! Since the statue's defense is so high, I have no choice but to apply some magic to my daggers.' Rem gathered magic energy to her daggers and cut the statue's arms off.

With nothing to defend the orb, Rem took this chance to destroy the orb once and for all.

*ShAtTeRs..!

'Great! One statue down..!'

"Remie!!! Help me!!!" Karina was unable to hold off the statue any longer.

"Thanks for distracting it..! Now leave the rest to me!" Rem ran towards the last statue and used the same method she used to destroy the other statue.

"Phew... We finally defeated those statues! I'm so tired..." Karina tried to catch her breath.

"Alright. It's best if we rest and be fully prepared before fighting the boss." Rem suggested.

"Yes, we should..." Karina agreed.

After resting for half an hour, Rem and Karina were finally ready to fight the boss of this dungeon. Rem and Karina entered the boss room.
