Many Mistakes and Misunderstandings

7:20 PM

Bruno had been sitting in the Guard House Interrogation Room for over thirty minutes now. He hadn't seen Jago, Sayer, or Julius since the drive to the Guard House. An unfamiliar Guard stood near the entrance of the room, completely silent with a blank stare at the wall behind Bruno. There were many times where Bruno had tried to get the Guard to speak but the man hadn't budged; he had kept his blank stare. Bruno had had better conversations with the table lamp then with that Guard.

It didn't matter; Jago and Sayer finally entered and the other Guard left.

"It's about time," Bruno said frustratingly. "Thought you guys forgot about me."

"Don't get smart with us," Jago said. "Like I said before, I never trusted you. Everything that happened in Espington was with you; everything bad started when you came."

Bruno chuckled under his breath, "It's funny because I thought we established that Adlington was the cause of all this, like the carriage explosion."
