Several Weeks Later
Joschwa awakens to a dark cold place but he soon realizes that his vision is perfectly fine. It looks like daytime to him. After carefully checking his surroundings, he came to a conclusion to where he's at now.
Am I in an underground cave but how did I get here? I remember trying to find a way to get home but I came across some monsters I've never seen before while walking through a forest. They looked like Imps but were taller, faster, stronger, and had purplish skin with gold horns on both sides of their head and the weirdest part was that they ran on all four. I was running as fast as I could but they were faster, after a while I was surrounded, without any other option I had to fight for my survival. I fought for what seems like hours against a pack of about 13 while only being able to use hit and run tactics since the only magic I can use is Body Manipulation. (Joschwa)
Around the time of Joschwa's life and death situation
Haaa haaa why haa are there haa haa so strong? Imps are supposed to be the weakest monsters in Olyreone. Their levels feel higher than level 1, are they possibly intermediate level 2 Imps, but I've never heard or seen them in any of the books at the academy. (Joschwa)
As I'm thinking this I failed to see an imp's strike coming from behind while I'm busy punching and kicking a few others. The imp whose claw was swiping towards my back suddenly I started feeling magic energy build up into the imp's claw. I panic inside because monsters usually can't use skills unless they're level 3 or higher. (Joschwa)
Well enough thinking I'm in a real pinch, but luckily my Body Manipulation is Rank E or else I'll be done for. If I can take this attack then I'll be able to kill these 2 and him while there's an opening hopefully haa. (Joschwa)
He had it planned out as that even though he knew it was a 50/50 chance of either dying or being severely injured. As soon as the claw was inches away from his back, he could feel the sudden rise of heat coming from it's claw.
That's when he knew his chances of dying went up more since the attack was enhanced with fire manipulation magic. Once the attack struck his body he slightly altered it's angle to miss his heart but he had a small size hole through his back that had blood flowing out. The feeling of extreme pain sent signals throughout his entire body.
After a while he tried to back away slowly but he was thinking that he was going to die.
Haa Haa I don't want to haa die, I haa can't die. I want to see my family again, I want to see April, my best friends John, Koplin, Yamir, Clarice, and Dominique. I'm sorry to you all but this is it for me and I didn't get to spend more time with all of you. I also regret that I won't be able to tell April how I feel about her. (Joschwa)

As his vision began to blur and darkness was slowly taking over him, he could see the Imps starting to move to finish him off. The closer they got the more he knew everything was over but before they could do anything, suddenly there was a creature 3 meters tall with reddish brown skin with black snake-like eyes.
It walks on 2 feet which look similar to chickens, with a slender compact muscle tone build while fur is covering his whole body with little around his chest, hands which are human-like and stomach areas. It had 4 pointed ears on the sides of it's head with a minotaur-like face with sharp teeth.
It slowly approached where Joschwa was and the Imps trembled the closer it got. They knew that a monster way stronger than them was coming but they froze out of fear and with little intelligence they had left is gone because of fear. As Joschwa was slowly losing consciousness he was even more sure of his impending death. In his heart he wasn't ready to die, but the situation looked real bleek for him.
I was hoping to at least try to get away somehow since I saw a river flowing nearby, but now it's looking like I won't be making back to anyone. Ahh ha ha ugh cough cough (Joschwa)
He started coughing out blood from the wound he sustained, the light in his eyes dim more while his body staggered some. He still had the look of regret but at the same time he has a little bit of determination. Determination to get back home to his friends and family, back to tell the one he loves how he feels.
The little motivation he had vanished as soon as the minotaur-like monster made his move.It was moving faster than he thought it should, mowing down the remaining imps who were frozen still. Some of them snapped out of it and started running for their lives. Only a small few manage to get away but the ones that didn't were completely flattened with only his raw strength. While observing what's been happening so far, Joschwa finally forces himself to get away somehow and pray he'll find some help somewhere.
Cough Cough ha ha I need to move now ugh while it's not paying any attention to me, let's quickly make it to the river hopefully I don't die but I get help ugh. (Joschwa)
Joschwa haven't even walked 10 meters yet when he felt a murderous intent pointed towards him. When he looked back he made eye contact with the monster, it stared back at him and he got the chills looking into its creepy dark eyes.
He could tell because if he doesn't leave now he will really die because that monster is at least a lv 4 monster. He slowly looks away while staggering and breathing hard because of blood loss and dizziness. When he thought maybe the monster wouldn't come after him, he soon heard it roar so loud that it shook the trees and made him stagger until he fell to one knee.
Ugh what was that just now, was it a skill or… (Joschwa)
Thump thump thump before Joschwa could finish his sentence heard the sound of heavy footsteps coming towards him and his face grimace from both pain and horror of the monster coming towards him.
Ha ha ha ugh my body's in terrible condition, I can't feel most of my limbs anymore. I'm feeling dizzy and my conscious is slowly fading, it seems like this really is the end for me ahh hahaha (Joschwa)
Resigning himself for what was to come, he tried to stand up and die fighting instead. Even though he can't really move or feel anything he still tried because his parents taught him to never appear weak to an enemy because doing that would mean you gave up before trying. And his parents are his idols, the ones who taught him all he knows.

The monster has started to swing his big fist towards Joschwa's and an incredible speed with great force so all he could do was to use all his mana to try to minimize the impact but when the monster's attack connected he felt like he was going to die on contact.
At the last moment he had his family and friends' faces flash through his mind for the last time.
