1 Prologue
My name is Lavell Aries, I am Aries' first son, and my ambition is to become King. An Archer assassinated the king of Philosopher's country. The monarch lacked a heir and a wife, hence he should have been succeeded by a close relative. Although, because of what transpired in 1982, the king did not have any close relative. A band of street thugs slaughtered the king's siblings and sisters as they returned home.
That implies the throne is passed down via nobles, and my generation may aspire for it by attending Hunter Academy and winning the prior year's tournament. Archer, Hunter, Mage, and Enchanter are the four classes available. Archers often utilize a variety of arrows with unique qualities, such as Fire, Ice, Poison, and many others. Hunters typically concentrate on strength and other types of resistance. Hunters may have developed a resistance to standard strength or certain types of magics or arrows.
Some Mages have the ability to learn unique spells through their blood lines, which occurs to them as easily as breathing. Other Mages can learn unique spells from grimoires, but grimoires are only maintained by nobles of high rank. Finally, the Enchanter, with the proper incantations and supplies, Enchanters may give restoration for groups. An Enchanter can also give their party's armor or weapons buffs, making them stronger, swift, and more resilient. These are the classes available to us if we attend the Hunter Academy.
My class, Overseer, was formed for the purpose of attaining the throne. It was demolished 15 years ago when the Rath kingdom attacked and slaughtered a tiny community. One of the Overseers was my mother. And my mother had given birth to me two days before the slaughter, and then she was killed in the cruelty. Luther Aries discovered me abandoned underneath some debris; luckily, he was accompanied by an Enchanter who performed a healing enchantment on me.
Luther Aries opted to raise a kid he had no obligations to raise out of the goodness of his heart and named me Lavell Aries.
Any assault from any of the four classes can be copied or cancelled by the Overseer class. They may also be able to negate some sorts of resistances. Some Overseers could only use one at a time, copying or canceling. When copying I can only copy two classes and when copying two classes I can only cancel one class. That means the Overseer class learns a lot of strategy, and now it's time for my first day at H.A.
Welcome to first year of Hunter Academy (H. A). Eugene Goodall is my name. If you have any queries concerning the upcoming year, please do not hesitate to inquire. I assume that was the question on everyone's mind, therefore I'll now begin the tour. The trip included an archery field, Hunter and Mage training grounds, and a chamber for performing incantations. Oh, and there are four classrooms, one for each sort of instruction. The main office is the one you all noticed as you walked in, and it's also where you can find out about our forthcoming activities. As previously said, there are four classes to pick from: Hunter, Mage, Archer, and Enchanter.
The regulations specify that you must select a class in order to enlist, and I've opted to be a Mage. I selected Mage since I don't want folks in Philosopher to know about the Overseer class just yet. As a result, Luther, as a high-ranking nobleman, should have earned a Grimoire. Once utilized, you absorb both knowledge and magic at the same time, inflicting immense mental and bodily suffering.
Mr. Aries, MR. ARIES, MR. ARIES! Could you kindly come up and explain the difference between Mages and Enchanters? "Mages utilize manna from the air to cast spells, while Enchanters utilize manna from words to execute incantations", Lavell said calmly and collectively.
Well done, class, does anyone know how differently Mages and Enchanters perform difficult spells and incantations? How about you Raya. Mages channel Mana from within the body and releasing it takes complete control and confidence in your abilities. Enchanters utilize longer and more complicated divide words, which offers them more Magical power for greater incantations.
That concludes today's class. (I completely blanked out for the most of class.) When I got home, he was standing at the gate. I had a feeling he knew something I didn't.
