Onve upon a promise.
I stood staring at my boots, while the other ghouls, Rin, Glenn and Blue bird. Yumeko gave me the dirt stare as my eyes avoided hers.
"You brought a phone here. To my domain and now you tell me of some shit". She scoffed and I ignored her.
"So, your family has been kidnapped and you expect me to give you my platoon, to what save them?! She snapped and I didn't say a word.
"What the hell? I trusted you, Ichigo. I gave you everything, both my body and place to call home, people to call family". She spoke and my eyes raised to get a stare of Rin.
Imagine us, family. With Rin being a bitch ass brother and Glenn, understood to be the sweet type. Blue bird, the cold and unattractive soul but wise yet helpful at a point. Yumeko being my girlfriend, cold and calculative, hot and sweet. I scoffed at her words, raising my head.
"I know. I messed up and because of me we could get tracked here by the man hunters but any of you would anything for you family. I miss the warm of my family companionship. Clearly, I don't want to be here forever". I snapped and Glenn twisted her lips.
"You're not going anywhere. Let the police do their job". Rin spoke and I gave him a dirty look.
"It could be ghouls, who captured them or mere money grabbing thief's but either way, I suggest you let the police work". Glenn said and I gnashed my teeth.
"because you lost your family, doesn't men I would sit back and lose mine". I muttered and Rin got upset.
"What did you say? Rin asked.
"That's right? I said it. You lost your family even though who had the power to save them, because you didn't do anything. But am not going stay and watch my family get taken away". I snapped.
"you can't leave yet? Argh…! Yumeko groaned and held her stomach suddenly. Blue bird rushed to her to assist her up her feet.
"Princess, don't stress yourself over this matter. It's bad for you and the baby. We will held this". Blue bird spoke and sent chills down my spine.
Did he just say baby? I asked myself as Yumeko squeezed her face and lips. We had sex like how many times and we are already taking of a baby. When? How? Where? I had my eyes asking all the questions as I couldn't quite place it.
"that's right, Ichigo. Yumeko is a month pregnant and we believe, you are the father.
"A month? That's impossible. I refuse to believe that crap".
"Believe whatever you like. I won't let you leave now, puppet". Blue bird said in a cold tone and drew out his Kagune.
My eyes widened as I just learned that I was a puppet and clearly this ghouls were not caring of my family's life or wellbeing. I snarled as Yumeko clearly had plots to keep me here for some reason. I remember, that I had told Yumeko of my discussion with my sister and that my parents had being kidnapped by some unknown men, who might be ghouls.
I was soon surrounded by Glenn and Rin, but I didn't care as I felt I could take them.
"let him go". A voice muttered and I turned to see Yumeko. She stood and smiled warmly at me.
"Family always comes first, right Ichigo? She managed to say from the harsh pain. I felt the sting in her voice as she struggled to even stand. Was a ghoul pregnancy really painful like this, perhaps it was. But still family comes first, just as she had said. I smiled back warmly and supposedly stormed off, in a heist.
"I'll be back, Yumeko. I promise". I muttered to myself and ran off in a heist.
I arrived at the location, disguised as a young normal boy. Wearing a cloak jacket like a man hunter and a mask to disguise my identity. For some reason, I didn't want my family to know I was ghoul or have any idea that I was clearly, the one who rescued them.
"Eugene? I called out but no reply. From her text she said the abductors pulled over from a van and attacked them. Seizing mom and dad, forcing her to flee as she was almost taken.
"Eugene? I muttered again but no response. It was dark in the alley but me as a ghoul was very easy to see. I heard the creaking of cans by rats and the meowing of cats. I exhaled as I felt it was or has been a long time since, I haven't seen her since the day I ran. I still need to explain to her why I did that and what exactly happened, perhaps an apology. Guess all that was solved since I wore a mask.
As I took another step further, wandering around looking for her. She pulled out from underneath a dumpster and tangled her elbow around my neck. Drawing me closer and sticking out a pen knife to my throat. I was shocked and surprised she just turned scary.
"who are you? She asked and I stuttered in a bit of fear.
"Eugene? I called out and she kept silent. Still not trusting me.
"am a friend of your brothers. I came to help you and find your parents". I scoffed out and let go. I turned and looked at her as she climbed out the dumpster. The sight of mbaby sister had me in tears, I scoffed and held my mouth as I cried out even further.
"Huh? Why are you crying, Suzame? She asked in a confused voice and drew my senses back.
"That's right, I was pretended to be Suzame. The man hunter dude".
