One hit is all I need

"if you can lay one hit on me, then you win. Just one hit". She muttered and I thought to myself. I thought she said, her brother was stronger than her.

She…she said one hit, while her brother said three hits. I was abacked for a moment but daily wvaed that aside. This was surely the path back to Yumeko and to being strong.

"Let's do this". I snapped and my Kagune popped out of my spine. She smirked and had her own Kagune out.

"Oh yeah, one more thing…Ichigo". She card for my attention and I responded with an spooked face. She grinned and licked her lower lip. "Hope you can keep up".

I stood at the far end, observing her in the silence. She had a cold face on and kept her eyes glued to my face. I was waiting, more like calculating when to strike and how. She was the fast type, so certainly she will like to wrap this up quickly.

I just didn't understand why she'd say something like that as of earlier. That she wasn't strong but I won't h able to lay a single hit. Just one hit, when her brother said three. Pfft…in the midst of my thoughts, I saw her Kagune wide out and shot out red spikes at me. I weaved and pulled my Kagune in front to block her fast fury attacks, but there was a quick counter.

I had blocked my vision with my own Kagune and had just caught a glimpse of Glenn closer to me. She immediately dodged my left strike and punched me in my stomach. I took a tumble and slammed on the wall.

"Lucky you…I was aiming for your abdomen. Might have miss a few vital organs". Glenn smiled and walked closer to me.

She had a cripple smile and the move she just used now, was mine. Where…? I paused and coughed out of a sniff of blood.

I guard my fist up again and moving in closer to her, she immediately vanished and I caught a glimpse of her in mid air behind, I turned and she was gone.

She appeared in front of me and buried her fist in my chin. I slammed against the hard walls again and groaned in pain. She let out a short laugh and sighed, her eyes looked bored and I could tell she was not liking the thrill of things.

It was a one sided match and I was on the brink of losing. But then again, the move she used were so familiar. I paused and looked at her, she could tell that I was thinking on how she knew those tricks.

"what are you looking at? See something you like? She scoffed out the question and offered a gentle smile.

"Not really, No! Just wandering why you got that move from". I asked and glared at her. She smirked and gave up a cold stare.

"Those are your lame moves. I thought I put them to you for myself. Guess it all worked out". She said and I pulled my jaw against my palms, itching it and thinking.

The only person who had seen me do this was back at the construction site and with…huh. I paused and looked back at her, she let out a warm smile and muttered.

"Guess you figured it out".

"I was the one standing next to Rin, when he beat you in the construction site and Clearly, when you got taken away by that Man hunter fellow". She said and rubbed one foot against the other softly.

"Why didn't you help me? I was getting taken away". I snapped and she cupped her lips.

"The weak will always get taken or die. Except…they get stronger. You must get stronger or I tell you, that in thousand years, you can never defeat my brother". She murmured and I felt the sudden rage inside of me.

"well…how bizarre! Cause I was just starting to like you". I muttered to her hearing.

Pumping myself up and down the air, with a jump and vanishing immediately. I used my Phoenix dive speed and weaved around the arena quickly. Firing my spikes at her, she smirked as her eyes caught up to my every movement and she just kept dodging and firing back.

After what felt like an intense fire power drill of spikes, I surged in closer with my Rashumon. She caught on immediately, blocking with the back of her hands and countering. I too saw her's coming from like a mile away and weaved off my position.

Changing my course and countering again, she blocked it and I groaned in frustration. We kept going on and on, blocking and countering. Using all our strength, skills and reflexes to attack each other, the ground underneath our feet let out a crack and broke off, but we kept going. The pace increased by each block and we both got a chance to have our fist clash against each other.

I pushed back and so did she, but only for a second. We raced back at each other, drawing out Kagune and forging it into a sword. Eyes wide open at ourselves and Glenn was absolutely loving the thrill and turn of events. We were both open and I knew either one of us will get slashed.

I paced through her as she paced through me. Both vanishing and appearing behind each other, with a marginal space in center. I paused and so did she, the impact of our speed busted the glasses of the hall and cracked the walls.

"Huh? We both grasped as our eyes felt the rush of blood and the pain of what happen as well as our ears caught the sound of someone's blood drop to the floor. I stood there wondering which of us will fall over first.
