A thousand years rescue.

I can't believe this quack had me, I was shocked and fell over after a good spell. I was weak and was tired to even move. He pulled over and looked at me, grinning weirdly.

"you are weak and pathetic. It will take you a thousand years to get up to my level". He muttered as my vision got even more blurred. Once again I was defeated and captured.

I woke up to the sight of some one rather familiar standing in front of me. I was kneeling down on both knees and perhaps was out for a couple of minutes. I groaned as the blurry vision faded off my brain. There was a low sound of people muttering, mixed with the sound of a footstep approaching. "look who decided to join us huh? A voice mumbled and I looked up to see the same doctor and man hunter, who captured me earlier.

"little one". He muttered and I glanced around the room to see the "us" reference.

There was a rare glimpse of some one standing in front of him. I stock my face out from the man hunter's view to see Yumeko. She was looking cold and calculating as her eyes didn't even glance at me.

"Yumeko? I muttered and had her take a glance toward my path.

"You came for me". I muttered underneath my shaking breath. I was so excited and happy to see her, but she wasn't too in a good mood to see me.

That could be understandable, judging by the fact that I caused this entire madness by running away. She must have gone through a long row of stress to get me.

"Yumeko, huh? So that's your mystery name. Here in the agency, we call you the talentless Nanny". The doctor snapped and looked at her to see a reaction.

Yumeko wasn't alone or pissed by what he said. I, on the other hand was shocked.

"The talentless Nanny, why? Why call her that? She isn't talentless. She is perfect. Don't go judging her because she is a monster. You know nothing of her! I snapped from my kneeling spot behind the man hunter. He laughed and pulled me by the cuff around my neck.

"This is the part where you shut up". He snapped and smacked me with the back of his teaser.

"thank you, husband". Yumeko muttered and looked at me. I felt the ray of sunshine flash against my face as her words warmed my heart.

But then again, it sounded more sarcastic from another point of view. Yumeko had her entire crew of ghoul subordinate with her. From Rin to that creepy female ghoul and others with her. Not to mention the ghoul on the right who looked puffed up like a blue bird.

"Enough chat! I won't hand him over". The man hunter snapped and pulled up his gears for a fight.

Yumeko scoffed and had her crew already step a little further. She put out her hands to calm them down and stepped forward.

"You either hand him over or I'll kill you with my own hands". Yumeko threaten and he shuffled backward in a bit of fear.

He gnashed his teeth as he felt his plan of survival wasn't working. Come to think of it, the building of the organization looked wrecked and completely destroyed. Ghouls of the Aogiri tree flooded the place, standing tall and proud.

As it turned out, the doctor man hunter was the only one alive and felt the deal of using me as a leverage for his survival. He was fairly outnumbered as all his colleagues were murdered.

He's idea of discussing or perhaps negotiating with Yumeko to had me back, in turns save his life. But what was he playing out, a mystery card was definitely in check. I glanced at him as he mumbled words to himself.

"shit…! With her kind of attitude, my plans won't work. I need to hold her off for as long as possible until the back up squad gets here". I heard him and screamed at Yumeko to run and leave me behind. In that instant, The doctor man hunter was distracted as he tried to shut me up and lost his guard as Yumeko sent two of her guard to kill him.

He, originally named "Guetta Konosuba". A research doctor and man hunter for the man hunter organization. He is skilled in fighting with a skilled teaser pole, that shocks and produces a large amount of electricity. He is a smart, cunning and mystery character. Fast and always a step ahead in his original plot. In no time he had the two ghouls sent by Yumeko shocked dead and stood over their bodies.

"Tsk". Yumeko sighed and wiped her Kagune at him, crashing him against the wall. He fainted and blood spilled from his head to his chin.

I was liberated by Yumeko and she ordered the big fluffy blue ghoul to get me up and ready to go. It turns out his name was actually "Blue bird" though to his nature and ghoulish form.

After some couple of hours, I was home clean and dry. There was a soft tap on the door of the bedroom, it was Yumeko. She stepped in and looked around the room as though she searched for someone else.

"Hey". I mumbled and she looked at me. "Thanks for saving my life". I spluttered and offered a warm smile that was rejected.

"Don't thank me yet. You ran away and cost me a lot of trouble finding you". She snapped and moved to the window of the room. She stood there, hands crossed and looking as beautiful as the radiant sun.

"I have decided to punish you. All ghouls here leave under my rule an protection. Without me this communion is nothing". She snapped and I let out a sigh as I felt this was coming. Perhaps it was for the best, we both had lost a lot. I sniffed my nose and felt a tear drop.

"Are you okay? Gosh…you are gonna cry". Yumeko said and I braces myself up and tried to laugh.

"You're a ghoul, crying is not in our nature". She mumbled and I looked at her.

"I'm fine". I snapped and looked back at her. For a second, I thought I would be dead meat or worst an experiment carried on by that hideous doctor.

But she saved me, I know it and I can feel it, she still loves me. I concluded and offered a warm smile as I felt Yumeko was avoiding the subject of love.

"So what's the punishment like? I asked and she gasped.

"what? She asked.

"you said you wanted to punish me for running away". I replied and had my legs crossed on my bed.

Yumeko paused and let out a laugh, she sniffed her nose after a long laugh and went on laughing again. Soon, I joined her in her laughing club and we both stop abruptly.

"what's so funny? I asked in a quite confused state.

"I don't intend on punishing you. You're after all my husband but I will offer you a chance to be strong". She muttered and approached me. I watched her sweet and sexy footstep as she pulled her body closer. I had missed this, her laugh, touch and clearly was down for anything.

She pulled herself closer and gripped my hand. Hers was cold and her eyes sparkling like the lake water. I felt a bit lost in it as she lowered her face.

"Come". She muttered and the next thing I know was she dragging me down the steps. We passed through a few ghouls on duty and a long hallway into an arena.

It was like a container box, wide and isolated. The silver painting was nice and the walls were concrete made.

The lights flickered on in all directions and there was a high standing, which was well elevated for very important guest. I glanced around the box and caught a glimpse of a ghoul standing in the center of the box.

"Who is that? I muttered as the man looked the opposite way but looked well familiar.

"Come! She snapped and the ghoul appeared in front of her. It was Rin and I felt my blood boil. For some reason I disliked him and so did he.

"Lets have a battle. Rin vs Ichigo. If you can lay three hits on him, the you win". Yumeko muttered and gasped in shock and a bit of fear. This guy was stronger, faster and better than me. Why set such a high profile match up.

"Ready to crush me, Ichigo". Rin asked and chuckled. I let out a scoff as his presence already irritated me.

I pulled myself backward a bit and paused. This was a training exercise, not a punishment. Yumeko wanted me to get stronger, so she put in a room with the best of the best. She still wants me by her side and to get there, I need to be strong.

I wrapped my fist as Yumeko made her way upstairs. She paused and I heard her call out my name.

"Ichigo! She called out as I looked up to see her flash a brief smile.

"Win".
