1 VACATION

"HELLLOOOOO~ New York!" A blue-skinned genie shouted at the top of his voice.

He was dragging an absurdly large suitcase behind him, which also had an elephant trunk sticking out the side of it. He had just arrived in New York in America, in the world of My Hero Academia. People gave him some odd looks, but nothing abnormal beyond the occasional giggle of a child nearby. Many people in this world looked odd due to their quirks, and Genie... he was here on vacation. Or at least he decided he was a few days ago.

Genie split into 5 copies of himself, with a mustache that was absurdly large and a top hat, while the main Genie had his classic beard strap. They looked like a bunch of snobby board directors for a big corporation, with a Mickey Mouse logo on their suits.

"What do you think, Mickey? Should we make some 'Dreams Come True'?" the OG Genie asked his other selves in a silly accent.

"Absolutely, absolutely, yes yes yes." The clones that he had made, burst into a resounding agreement and applause.

"Aww~ You guys~ You're gonna make me blush. I'm so glad I'm not surrounded by Yes Men. You guys are just the vacation I need! I'm so glad I visited!!" Genie exclaimed with a loud smile.

At this point, some of the surrounding people in the area had stopped to watch the bit that Genie was doing, letting out an occasional chuckle.

"Yes, Absolutely! You are completely right, sir." The clones of himself immediately agreed with him and applauded louder. There was even whistling and cheering.

"Hahaha, that guy is silly." A small boy laughed while walking with his mother.

"Don't look, sweetie, that's a pervert." The mother answered while glancing at the OG Genie, who was shirtless. She pulled her son away quickly.

Genie ended his bit and his clones merged back into himself.

"If I'm going, I gotta go in style," Genie stated loudly.

He opened his trunk and pulled the elephant out of it, before throwing it to the side.

"Not that, it's just a smaller trunk." He muttered to himself.

He started pulling out all sorts of absurd things: A small yellow buggy car, a long-extinct living pterodactyl, a chihuahua, a Type B stealth bomber, and even a full set of bowling pins. But he only stopped after he pulled out a skateboard.

"Perfect!" he smiled.

He closed his suitcase and lifted it a few times, making a confused expression on his face about the lack of weight inside it. He glanced back at the pile of things he had piled up around his suitcase, and then back at his hand. The people around him had shuffled even further away from him after he had pulled out a stealth bomber from his suitcase. There were even a few people discretely calling and reporting the situation to authorities.

"Todaloo~" Genie waved his fingers while glancing directly at the person who was trying to keep himself hidden while calling the police.

He set down his skateboard while transforming himself into a generic punk-styled kid with breezy blue hair. He had a leather jacket, blue jeans, and knee and arm pads. Then he gingerly moved his foot onto the skateboard, like he was about to test if the swimming pool water was warm enough. His foot touched the board and he had a relieved expression on his face, but that changed almost as soon as he shifted his weight entirely on the board.

He shot off at 60 miles per hour, joining the main traffic on the road. The board even had a license plate and taillights on the back.

"YahOHooyee~" Genie yelled as he shot down the road.

(Flashback)

Genie didn't always exist.

He was a fictional character who was created by Disney's Aladdin to sell a good story. In the story, he was nigh immortal and omnipotent.

He existed after an accident happened with a man's soul. The man died while watching the end of Aladdin with his family. He died from an allergic reaction to peanuts, cooked into the brownies his brother's wife had made for everyone.

He was a bit bummed about his death, but now he's not so upset anymore. He had somehow merged with the character of Genie at the moment Aladdin made his wish to free him. He was now no longer just the man who died watching a movie. He was also Genie. He had memories and personality of Genie from the movie Aladdin.

It felt a bit odd at first. He was not a very big singer. He was a writer, but now he had uncontrollable urges to sing, make people smile, or laugh. He guessed this was what came from Genie's personality to naturally cope with his immortality, loneliness, and omnipotence. It was also a big reason why he had so many rules when he told Aladdin about his wishes. Especially the rule about love.

He decided he would put some limits on himself as well. As the new Genie, he would inherit the original Genie's philosophy.

1. No manipulating free will directly. (No wishes for Love, fear, or any kind of control.)

2. No interfering directly in any world or universe. (Too Boring)

3. A small game of treasure hunt, if a child finds one of his Genie tokens, hidden in the world he was in, He would grant one wish of that child, as long as it didn't go against his rules.

4. He would always try to give something back to the world he visited. Just like Aladdin had selflessly wished for his freedom, now he wanted to give back to others as well.

It only took Genie a few days to come to terms with his new self. He had changed from the movie, he was now more into creatively creating with his powers, exploring the endless universes, or just creating an atmosphere of wonder and laughter. Anyway, he was omnipotent and immortal. His spiritual decisions and actions have more meaning to him than anything else.

He decided he would start off his official vacation in the multiverse, by visiting a world from comics. He put them all on a wheel and spun it until it landed on My Hero Academia. And that leads to the current situation, with his arrival in America.

Author's Note:

This is just an idea for a story. Probably will start with Genie staying in MHA for a while. He could make a VRMMO game like the Oasis, or just generally go around doing stuff.

Tell me your thoughts in the comments.
