76 The Ethereal Lotus (2)

One of the petals among the eight on the lotus shone brightly in an orangish-red hue, brighter and different from the rest of the usual seven silver petals.

But no matter how much the orange petal glowed, all of its light-emitting out was restricted and prevented from escaping outside by the silver cocoon-like film that was given out by the lotus itself.

It was as though the lotus symbol didn't want to alert anyone else about the changes happening to Kyra right now and put her in danger.

As one orange and seven silver lines on the lotus symbol glowed on Kyra's forehead, at the next instant, as though being summoned out -- the dull, hollow black circle appeared once more on Kyra's left wrist on its own. 

No more than two and a half inches wide, the mark that the chubby witch Gabby had called as the Magil. 

But the unexpected changes happening did not stop here.
