"Ha!" Lauren furiously slashed her sword at the translucent wall before her. The flaming red sword cut through the defensive barrier tearing it apart effortlessly like a hot knife through butter.

'Retreat!' Richard immediately jumped backwards hastily as he scrambled out of the incoming blade in their way.

Meanwhile, Riverra's widened in shock as she sensed the overwhelming strike and hurriedly tried to pull back her hands as she planned to retreat as well.

"And where the hell do you think you're going!?" snarled Lauren as she leapt forward, swinging her sword once more with all her might.

"No-!"

There was a flash of fiery light, after which a high pitched painful shriek followed.

"Arghh!!" Riverra wailed out in pain as her right arm got chopped off from the elbow and fell to the ground. Since she was in a transformed state, it looked no different from a branch being cut off from a tree by a woodcutter.
