034: Building Pentagon Fortress

"Belial," Darius asked, his voice carried the superiority yet sounds very polite and humbling. "I'll ask you just for once. Are you willing to serve me? If not, I don't have any choice but to put you and your Demon Legion inside the Demonicon World for eternity."

The Demon Warlord stared daggers at Darius, he wants to decline Darius' offer since in Belial's eyes, Darius was still a gullible, and weak kid. However, he couldn't help but to accept the fate that Darius has been chosen by the Demonicon Grimoire as its new bearer.

Thus, Belial kneeled before Darius, expressing his utmost loyalty.

"We are willing to serve you, My Lord."

"Very well," Darius nodded. "From today's onward, you'll live in this world under my strict supervision and Restrictive Spells. Once you learned how to live amongst human and always abide by my words, I'll set you free when the Death claims my life."

The Restrictive Spells was taught by Alexa, the Magical AI woman, directly into his mind by forcing Darius' brains to learn it.

The results, however, wasn't disappointing at all. Belial and his Demon Legion was prohibited to harm any human without Darius' command.

After Belial pledge his allegiance to Darius, the one thousand Lesser Demons under Belial's command were now counted as Darius' subjects, collectively. With that said, Darius obtained ten thousands Loyalty Points and was able to unlock various knowledge that were listed in the [Civil Engineering System].

"Mathilda, can you watch Belial for me? I need to meditate."

"Eh? Meditate? That's very unlikely of you." Mathilda remarked.

Notwithstanding Mathilda's usual sharp response, Darius went into meditation as to learn various blueprints that he had bought, he used 10.000 Loyalty Points as to learn how to build a fortress, siege weapons, Formation Arrays and many other military related stuffs in just one sitting.

Beep!

[You have learnt the blueprint of Pentagon Fortress]

[You have learnt the Trebuchet Blueprint]

[You have learnt the Leather Canon Blueprint]

[You have…]

More than a hundred blueprints had been installed in Darius' brains. All he need to do now was to take priority which one he needs to build first.

Henceforth, Darius chose to build the Pentagon Fortress first before anything else.

He opened his eyes and called the Black Witch. "Mathilda, can you help me gathering the stones, rocks and boulders around the village with your Golemns? Also, dig the foundation trench in a pentagon shape that encircled the whole village?"

Mathilda was askew. "Sure, but why?"

Darius gazed at Mathilda with his serious eyes instead.

"Alright, alright, whatever you said, Chief."

For a few hours or so, Mathilda's Golemns dug out tons of stones, rocks and boulders from the soil and piled them up onto five different gathering spots.

Once everything was placed according to his order, Darius sat on the beach under the starry night. It was so calm, everything was in serenity, not even a ripple of wave dares to make a sound.

However, as Darius opened his eyes, the land and sea were trembled violently. The Arcane Energy went rampant when Darius manipulated the energy. Darius golden eyes glowed in vibrantly, and then his whole body began to be engulfed in light.

The gathered stones, rocks and boulders fly into the sky, each and every piece turned into the desired shape in no time. The process took roughly about five hours or so until one humongous, pentagon-shaped fortress hovered above the village.

Mathilda was dumbfounded upon witnessing such a feat.

"Impossible! There's no way Rank 1 Mage can do this without the help of a Magical Tools! The amount of mana that is needed must be astronomical! Darius body must be in great burden right now!"

Mathilda wants to stop Darius from forcing his body too much, but she was too late to stop him otherwise the Arcane Energy would backlashed on him.

Darius gently lowered the whole fortress down into the foundation trench. The villagers promptly exited their houses with a torch in their hands. They thought a giant must have landed upon the earth but they found themselves had been encircled by a billowing stone fortress that stood tall for dozens of meters.

Alas, Darius suddenly collapsed with a severe nosebleed when he safely landed the fortress without causing an earthquake.

"Darius! By the gods! You are so reckless! Maria will kill me if you die!" Mathilda caught him before he hit the sand.

Darius chuckled. "Is that what you worried about? Seriously?"

"Shut up! I need to heal you before Maria arrive here."

"Stop it, I still need to build the weapons system."

"No can do. Just lie down or I will tie you into a log and throw you to the sea!"

"Alright, alright…" Darius finally listened to her. "Belial, go to the village and tell Maria to rely my words to the villagers; Weaponize the battlements. Bjorn and Skallgard will know what to do."

Belial was reluctant, he didn't know how to interact with humans. "But, my lord. What if she despised my looks instead?"

"Just go. Lilith is with her too, you'll be fine."

"As you command, my lord." Belial turned into a black mist and disappeared without a trace.

Mathilda shook her head, she still couldn't believe that Darius just finished a whole fortress in just one night. If only Darius' power level were higher, he could even build a whole city with just a whim of his thought.

"Seriously, Darius, how did you do that?" Mathilda asked, her hands were busy healing his organs.

"I just need to imagine the shape, and the rest will follow according to what heart desire the most."

Mathilda froze for a moment. Various thoughts churned in her mind. 'What a terrifying talent. Lady Selena, your son is going to shake both heaven and earth at this rate.'

"That's enough, Mathilda. I can walk now."

By the time Darius stood on his feet, a loud sound of horns resounded from the southern side of the village. Darius and Mathilda smiled upon recognizing the unique sounds of that horns.

"About the damn time." Mathilda murmured.

"That's your caravan, isn't it? They have arrived sooner than I expected."

"Indeed. Let us return to the village. My men must be surprised upon seeing you."
