The Omnipotent Village Chief

In the Slonia Empire Mages reigned supreme. They are nobles who monopolized and controlled their knowledge and wisdom in the world where Arcane Energy riddled every nook and cranny from easily going out or leaked to the commoners and peasants. Darius, an orphan from the most remote village in the Northern Mountain Range, had the highest Magic Aptitude. But of course, he was oblivious to this fact since surviving the all-year-long winter was harsh enough for him, let alone learning the magic that would bring nothing to the dining table for his little brothers and sisters in the orphanage. One day he met with an old man who gave him the… Arcaniu. A system that would change his fate and the entire Slonia Empire altogether. **** He built his village into a town, and from that town, he developed it into a magnificent city, the city soon evolved into a flourishing kingdom and he eventually established his Empire! Let us see how this young man changed his world and brought it into a whole new age of civilization. **** “Nobles? Do you mean those fat-bellied pigs?! I can beat them with the tip of my nail.” “Hah! OVC 24 - First Floor Goblins

Darius lifted two massive bird's thighs onto his shoulders as if they were a bunch of twigs and brought them back to the village with him.

'With this one leg, it would last the two of us for at least a month.' Darius thought.

Food would no longer be an issue for Maria even if she was home alone for a while with all those meats so he went to Andhrimnir's house, the butcher, and gave him one bird's thigh to be distributed to the villagers in the following morning.

The butcher was astonished at first, never before he would imagine somebody could take down the Giant Vulture and live to tell the tales. However, upon looking at Darius' eyes, he understands that the Chief was no longer a mere mortal.

"As you command, Chief."

Darius nodded, "See you in the morning, I will bring some more tomorrow. Sharpen your knife well."

"Certainly, Chief!"

With that said, Darius headed straight to his house, he couldn't wait to taste Maria's cooking, even just wondering how good the food was enough to make Darius' mouth salivate.

Caw! caw! caw!

The noisy White Raven perched atop the roof obstructed his imagination. He knew for the best to whom the raven belonged to.

"Mathilda is here? That's sooner than I expected." Darius murmured.

Granted, as soon as he opened the front door, all he could see was a pair of bountiful bosoms flying onto him. He couldn't dodge in time since he still had the massive bird thighs on his shoulder. Hence he dropped it to balance his body.

"Dariiuuus!!!"

Boing!

The beautiful, black-haired woman who dressed like a witch, complete with a tall, pointy headdress embraced him tightly, burying Darius face into her supple, soft and sweet smelling bosoms that almost spilled out from her tight black dress

Darius' little brother, of course, was fully awake when this happened. However, he remained calm since he knew Mathilda was only playing with him.

"Umph! Mathilda, let me go. I can't breathe." Darius says, his voice was muffled in Mathilda's cleavage.

She looked like someone who was too obsessed with black outfits with dark nuances. Even so, the woman seemed friendly and attractive when she smiled faintly as she let go of Darius' face.

"Aaah, I missed you so much! I went straight from the Midlands to here when I heard the village was raided by pirates! Oh, thank heaven you two are alright."

"My dear… You have become a fully fledged Mage before I knew it. I like you even more, boy."

Her high cheek-bones lifted seductively, she then leaned toward him, sniffing him albeit very faintly.

"Err, Mathilda?" Darius flushed red, bemused to Mathilda's unusual antics.

Her sharp gaze landed on something beneath his shirt, it began to rise and fell irregularly as Mathilda's slender fingers ran through his shoulder.

Curious, Matilda caressed him with a tantalizing touch. She smiled when she recognized the spherical crystal that embedded in his chest.

"May I?" She whispered to his ears.

Her slender fingers and long nails slowly undid the buttons of his shirt one after another.

Darius couldn't move even for an inch. He seemed frozen in place. The woman didn't harbor any malice toward him. It's just her unusual antics whenever she found something that fancied her interests.

With her unique beauty, Darius was in daze, hypnotized by her to remain still and nail him in place.

Matilda's eyes seemed sparkling as she stared at the colorful spherical crystal on Darius' chest.

"Ah…" Mathilda let out a sweet moan. "Now, I understand."

Before things went horribly wrong, Maria pulled him away from Mathilda.

"Hmph!" Maria pouted her cheek, expressing her annoyance while hugging Darius from behind.

"Oh my…" The black-haired woman smiled playfully. "To think that the two of you had gone into a deeper relationship… Huhu, I don't know what to feel right now."

"By heaven." Darius snapped. "Let's stop this. It's dinner time. Maria, help me with the meat."

Maria didn't say anything and was unwilling to explain to Mathilda about the crystal in Darius' chest. Everybody has the right to have one secret or two.

"That Magic Circuit," Mathilda chimed as she returned to her seat. "You better hide it well or those mad people will hunt you down and dissect your body to dig it out."

"Magic Circuit?" Darius says whilst his hands were busy butchering the meat in the kitchen.

"Yes. If you don't want to say who gave you that piece of ancient magic, it's fine by me. However, you ought to be ready for what would come to you, my boy."

"I know… And I will be prepared."

Mathilda smirked, "Fufu, interesting. Last year, you were just a snotty brat and now, you are the Chief, no less. I'll take it that you have learned about your past, yes?"

Darius' hands went stiff upon hearing it. He barged out of the kitchen.

"You know my parents?"

"Yes, of course. Arthur was my foster father and Selena, your mother, was my mentor back in the Vrabia Empire during my childhood."

"Wait, how long was that?"

"A few hundred years ago."

Darius was stupefied, he couldn't believe that the young woman who always looks so amorous was actually a high-ranking Mage and very senior at that.

"W-who are you really?"

Mathilda put one finger on Darius' lips.

"That's a secret, my boy." She says seductively. "Speaking of which, I felt something Ancient in your body. Pray tell, did you go into some really old place recently?"

Darius was unable to avert his eyes from Mathilda's gaze, it was impossible to resist her charm.

"Urgh, fine." Darius finally opened his mouth. "I found an Ancient Dungeon inside the Westcliff cavern system."

Mathilda slammed the table out of excitement.

"A Dungeon!?"

"Yes, why?"

"Let's go there! Right now!" Mathilda quickly tugged his hands like a young woman who forced her boyfriend to go shopping.

Maria pulled the back of their collar before Mathilda could drag out the young innocent young man into the danger of the unknown.

"No can do! Dinner comes first!"
