A Small Taste of Freedom

Ever since he moved to the Red Swan Pavillion, he barely has time to decorate his new bedroom. No, even for years staying in the palace, Dimitri Greymound doesn't even have a lot of things to begin with.

His room is located at the other side of the pavilion, a bit far from the concubine's bedroom. So, it is a secret that he rarely sleeps in his own room but instead he has been sleeping in other spots of the pavilion closer to her bedroom.

He needs to keep an eye on her, after all.

Since his concubine doesn't want maids to be in the vicinity as she sleeps, the only ones staying at night in the Red Swan Pavillion are him whose room is the farthest corner of the pavilion house, Madame Ping who will be temporarily staying until the next concubine shows up, sleeping in the former maid bedroom located behind the kitchen and of course, the concubine of the pavilion, sleeping on the master's bedroom.
