Tense sweet Feelings.

Duncan.

"That would do, Derek," l said without raising my head in his direction, l solely focused on placing the celery leaf in the soup, glaring at it joyfully as it was ready to eat.

"Here is it, My Lord, " Derek said as he hung my night shirt on the edge of the chair in the dining room.

"The Doctor was here."

"Why didn't you send him in?"

"You were busy, my Lord."

"Send him in quickly," I said as l placed the two bowls on a wooden tray and strolled to the dining room, handling it carefully in my hands. I hope he is not sleeping already.

Immediately l placed the tray on the table, my heart fluttered excitedly as the fresh peppermint scent that came with those footsteps scrolling down the stairs, l looked at him wordlessly as he walked towards me, he looks so good in green, he is so fresh and his clear skin is so harmoniously attractive, he didn't even dry his hair.

I took out my apron without taking my eyes off this wonderful sight of mine, why does it feel like every time l see him again, l want him again and again, even in my next life l will still choose to save him and stay by his side and have him around me like this, again and again, he is so beautiful.

"Do you feel better?" I asked him tenderly and he nodded in agreement, l swallowed painfully at the sight of his bruises and cuts, especially on his fingers and wrist.

"Does it hurt?" I asked surging out to hold his hands but Derek and the Doctor stepped inside.

"Have a seat, have it while it's still warm," l said pulling a chair out for him to sit down, l heaved the tray of food his way," Why didn't you dry your hair? Do you want to get sick under my watch?"

"My Lord."

"You are here, Doctor, let's sit in the living room while he finishes his food," l said as l unbuttoned my top gazing at Delmar's face.

"What are you doing?" He muttered vaguely which had me glaring at him even more.

"Eat your food, will you? Stop having such thoughts, hurry up, the Doctor is waiting for you, " l said, throwing on a different top.

"I'm not hungry."

"Do you need me to feed you? I can do it while l have them watch us."

"Forcing me to eat is part of your plan?"

"I prepared it myself and you said you would eat anything, those are healthy, you should eat so you can sleep well."

"I'm really not hungry, l don't have the appetite." He said and l tried not to get annoyed, maybe he is experiencing a stomach block or he is still nervous.

"Then, we shouldn't keep the Doctor waiting, " l held his hands and dragged him with me," l was right that you needed a supplement.

"Have a look at him," l said to the Doctor, heaving him forcefully to sit on the couch, "Get me a mini dry towel, " l said to Derek, standing uprightly as the Doctor took a look at Delmar.

"How is he, Doctor?" I asked sincerely hoping for a bright answer.

"He is doing just fine, but his body might take a little time more time to heal, and lastly, l don't know if I can say he has some traumatic experience and he has a sleeping and eating disorder, l don't think he has had anything in his stomach for the last 72hours.''

" Here is it, My Lord, "Derek handed over the towel l asked, " And you said he is doing just fine? Tch, " l muttered frustratingly, brushing my hair with my fingers.

"I'm fine, Duncan," Delmar said, which had my eyes widened at how he said my name.

" What did you call him? "The Doctor howled, which had Delmar gazing at the ground regrettably.

" That's fine Doctor, calm your horses, l asked him to call me that, it is my name of course, " Delmar l know you are fine, but l want you to be at your best,  you have endured enough.

''I'm sorry." Delmar said, which had me wondering if he heard anything l said, "Doctor what is the solution?

" if you may be pleased my lord, but l would minister him some prodrugs in a two days treatment, and it will be a great help if he can feed on livestock only for a certain time, most of the prepared food won't do him any good, a little boost of the conversion immune system and nourishment in his body will do the magic."

"That is okay, Doctor, " Derek for these two days make sure everything the Doctor needs is see-through and provided accordingly.

"Yes My Lord."

I stood quietly as the Doctor applied some ointment and some natural herb-looking items, he soaked the cotton wool into it as he applied it to Delmar's bruises.

"Do you feel pain anywhere else? " The Doctor asked Delmar and he nodded in response as usual, " How well do you experience your heat cycle?" The Doctor asked and l quickly knew Delmar would be too embarrassed to answer something like that.

"Is that all, Doctor?"

"Yes, that will be all, My Lord, l only intended to help him calculate his days so he can keep a tap of it, it might also come unusually especially from triggers."

"I understand Doctor, l will be sure to always keep an eye on him, thank you for today and don't forget our agreement.

" As you wish My lord."

"That will be all, Derek see him off and you can also retire for today." I didn't wait for Derek to answer back as l sat by the couch close to Delmar.

"Let me dry your hair for you," l said and draped the towel on his hair, smooching it smoothly, l didn't wait for him to say anything as he might just say no.

His hair smelled like lime and it was errilly jelly and soft, l mindlessly didn't think much l just wanted him to be alright.

"Hold this," l said as l left the towel on his head and directly to the refrigerator, l took out some livestock, it was a fresh sheep, and l sliced the livers into an edible piece and took it back to sit with him.

"Have this? " I said as l pushed the plate out for him, my jaw slackened as he deep his face inside the plate instead of using his hands.

"Delmar?
