20 Chapter 20 - Skill Share

Almost everyone was already present on the field however the mood was clearly bad seeing no one was talking as their mind might still not move on from what happened last night apart from Dai Mubai who was clueless.

'Hmmm. No wonder I couldn't find Oscar. So that will happen today, huh.' Lev thought as he remembered something. Though he knew the main story of this world, there were still events that he could not clearly remember hence he could not anticipate everything that would happen.

For class today, Lev and the others still waiting for Dean Flender to arrive. As time passed by, the mood started to get bright as some finally started talking to each other aside from Ning Rongrong whose head was still bowing, Zhu Zhuqing who was minding her own business, and Lev who was completely alone. The group waited for no less than a quarter an hour before Dean Flender finally came strolling along.

Flender's gaze first fell on Ning Rongrong and then on Lev, but he did not say anything so as to not break the mood. He then sighed and just said, "Today is your second class. What about Oscar? Did he sleep in again?"

"When I left this morning, he was still cultivating, perhaps his meditation couldn't be broken in time." Tang San who had met Oscar back in their dorm hurriedly replied. He was also curious as to why Oscar was still not around as it was not normal.

This might be a curiosity and experiment on her side, but she felt like it wouldn't really harm her if she tried it out.

"Good. Then, follow me." Lev replied as he got up and headed out of the academy with a faint smile on his face as he had finally persuaded one of the main characters of this world. Though he could still see a hint of doubt in Zhu Zhuqing's eyes, he was confident that he could wash them all away after today.

Seeing Lev's leaving back, Zhu Zhuqing looked at the surroundings for a bit before following him behind. She doesn't know what will happen, but she will trust her gut this time. With that, the field then finally becomes quiet and peaceful again.
