1 Introduction!
Life is hard and we can all agree on that. Every single day you have stress from life in the forms of family, friends, work and a 5 billion ton asteroid racing towards your home. Crazy right? I assure you that you might have had wild weeks but mine has been even weirder. Scientists say that if only we had three more months to prepare then this could have all been avoided. But you can't change the past, can you? Well, actually you can.. I was a high school student with the best national test scores and years of martial arts training was chosen to go on the behalf of saving the world! Now you must be thinking! Wow, you made this great sacrifice for your world right? Yeah well that's not what happened at all.
I was the poor soul who was an intern for Slipnot tech which owned the time machine or Quantum Universe Acclamation Device or Q.U.A.D. for short. Now the QUAD was a nationally-funded device that was a success as far as the math checks out. However the energy usage for this thing is insane and it might collapse the whole world as we know it, but we weren't left with much of a choice anyway. Yeah well, its time I fessed up to something I wrote earlier I'm not a nationally ranked student and the one fight I got in was in kindergarten but I'm a pretty smart student that's mom forced to work as an intern in a tech company 2 months before the head scientist Ichigako Hishima took on a government funding project when he made a breakthrough in quantum physics.
Now we don't know for sure if the time travel machine actually works or not but you would be surprised what can happen when the whole world works together. I mean it's that or we all die but as you know some people are into that I guess. Now how did this 18-year-old get sent into the past well as the meteor was 2 days away from hitting the earth? As an intern, I got to be there the day the time machine went off sending an elite team of 5 from the United Nations. When I got the invite I assumed I would be able to watch this last chance for humanity go off which was the only thing stopping riots from happening in the street. However, that was not the case my only job was to get snacks for the control center and even that was taken by a celebrity that offered to take the spot to see the world be saved.
So I did as any teenager would do in this situation and went back to my workspace and the next thing I knew I was playing a new virtuality popular game called "The Obsidian Time" when a bright blue light flashed and all I could see was this screen with three clear options. (Journal), (Character Creation) and a flashing Timer button that read 02:00:00 and flashed down by the seconds indicating I was stuck in this system at least for now. Now I wanted to freak out and I really did but I just couldn't. Like my brain just kept it's cool and thought through everything reasonably for some reason. I just relaxed and decided a journal entry would help me think about everything that happened so if anyone reads this.. welcome to my life now"

"well, I guess there is just one option left to pass my time" The timer still read an hour and forty-five minutes and time was passing by slowly driving Luke insane. Character creation seemed when punched to be filled with an assortment of people. People were all around him and were obviously alive but aside from simple movements, there was not much activity.

Luke jumped back away because he knew that he didn't want to be hunted the rest of his life by the people right next to him that he could only assume were humans.
