Volume Sixty Seven

She is finally going back to her old ways. I've haven't seen her like this in years, I'm happy for her. She is finally doing what she was born to do, I know it sounds wrong for me. To enjoy of her Calibur killing bandits, it's like watching child broth in Nature. The way she moves without moving, the sound of wind picking up when ever she moves her left index finger. So this is her ability, it's pretty scary. Now I know why didn't go all out on me while training me, if she did I would have easily died. We walked passed the bandits, before leaving I dropped off a healing potion for him. Only one though seeing how the rat fo the bandits, our died there is no reason for more than one. The path leading to Daragain is a very troublesome one. There are multiple bandits on this path every day, not only that this path is also know for the amount of suicides were performed on it. I remember when the first body was found on the trail, it was a little boy no older than four. All of the suicides on this path are all children, it hurts me knowing the reason of their actions. It's all cause children aren't looked at like offspring, it's more of a profitable outcome for the parents. They see if they can create life then they can use their creation for money. I would stop them from swllinf their children, after saving thousands over the span of a year. All of the children that I've saved ended up past of the path. I remember while walking back to my home, the bring my family some potatoes and ham. I saw a child that I've very recently saved from his parents horrible decision, that child had a bloody kitchen knife. Knife Marks around his throat with dried up tears under his eyes, I picked up the dead boy. Started to dig his grave with my bare hands knowing that his parents will never do that for him. Even his parents never knew that their own child took his life cause of the actions of his parents. Walking past several handmade graves that I've made, Autumn asked me. " is the rumors of this path true?, you know about the children killing themselves on this path!". I slowed down a little bit, while gripping my blade out of frustration. " yeah it's true!. All of the graves that you see, I made them all. These kids deserve better than this though. No child deserves to be used like a pawn!, that's why I'm very cautious of my family!. All of the children o had buried, ever single one of them were under the age of nine!.". She turned around to get a glimpse of me, I didn't want her to see what Daragain had turned into. This isn't the home were me and her grew up in, that home was burned to ashes. She grabbed my shoulder," this is why we need to find the truth about all of this!. So we can get our home back from these beast". I shrugged her hand off of me, I can't believe that I showed this side of me. Both sides of the path was covered in handmade Graves. I've never seen anyone come out here, to say their goodbyes to the deceased. Every other Friday I take a day off to come out here, and plant flowers on the Graves. I don't know the names of the dead that I've buried, I wish I known there name. To the public this could be the graves of those who died fighting against Adamsin. This is not those people though, these are children. Even though children were slaughtered during that war. These graves are very recent. The gate the opened up to Daragain was in our sight. I seriously doubt this plan will work though, just in case things go sideways. I will keep an eye out for anything sketchy was to happen, I need to know were it's coming from. Walking past the guards the children from before was sitting in the middle of the street. I noticed that there were less amount of children this time, we approached the children. " Jim!, you got anything for us!". Autumn was very nervous around the children. I reached deep into my bag pulling out some copper coins which they could afford couple slices of ham. They kids were excited once I gave them, it must have been days since they had any food. Too my surprise Autumn pulled out of her pocket was a gold coin, that gold coin could buy an two story house. The children was scared of seeing the gold coin, they coward behind me in fear of the coin. Autumn was shocked by their reaction of seeing the coin, for her it seems that she just helping the poor. For them it's a shocking thing for them too see a gold coin, cause the gold coin is the most exchanged thing for children their age. " it's okay she didn't know", I snatched the coin from her. Once the coin was taken out of their visibility they sprung up with excitement, they ran way from us. She still doesn't understand the state of which Daragain is in, we continued our way to the guild. She was holding up, she still has nightmares of this place. This place isn't the same as it once was before, the guild looks the same as it did. The steps leading up to the guild, was still covered in Moss. It changes due to the seasonal change. The paladins party was waiting by the door, I'm pretty sure that the are waiting for me. He is really good at twisting people train of thought, I pushed through them. The guild door breaks down, I guess the rot have finally done it. The guild master was still behind the desk she raised her head, " well if it isn't the Gust of Wind".
