Volume Hundred and Fourteen

The light is so beautiful, this is a great site for me. The light became brighter the more closer I've got to it. I fell over once the light blinded my sight, while laying on the ground I heard my wife's voice. " Jim!", I smiled. That's makes me very happy. Hearing here voice means that my family made it out, my party picked me up. While lifting me off the ground, I sucked my teeth out of pain. Cause my dislocated shoulder had became a broken one. After carrying the merchant out of the woods, I know they don't mean to hurt me. It's not their fault. They don't know of my injury, Eten asked a very serious question. " How badly are you hurt?!, is it something we need to take a detour of our journey back to Nord?!.". In my mind we can't take any detours, cause the roads leading to Nord are covered with Bandits. On the another hand, I can't protect these people in my current condition. If they have another Kingdom we can head to too aid me. " Eten, did anyone bring any kinds of medicine or bandages with them?!". The dwarf started to shuffle through his bag, while dumping his entire bag on the ground. He picked up some kind of clothing. This clothing was made of metal, and some cotton. I have no idea of what this dwarf is thinking of, I don't see how that could possibly help me. He rushed back to us, shoved the clothing in my face with a giant grin. " Jim this a called a Hartet, this type of clothing is made from the finest blacksmith. Now this type of armor/clothing, it brings whatever broken. Or dislocated joint back in place. With one major side affect, yes it will help you. Also will heal you that doesn't mean the process won't cause you more pain. The process will take about a week or a month, depending on the severity of the injury.". So basically this type of material will heal me, it won't be a pretty process. I could care less how pretty it would be, as long it helps me. I started to stripe down ,well I tried to stripe down. The process of me stripping down was very difficult with my broken shoulder, Eten helped me. I played the merchant in the hands of the Mage, as well as my shield. My armor was frustrating to take off. Cause of my left shoulder was constantly getting caught, after thirty minutes of struggling to take off my armor. It finally came off. The look of shock came over the faces of the people around me, I felt my boot soaking in something. I look to see what has soaked my boots. Well it was my blood, they loved my armor next to my shield. My chainmail was so badly tangled around my shoulder bone, they decided to cut my chainmail. I had that chainmail for about six years, shortly after my child was born. They just threw my chainmail away from the area. I lost sight of where they had tossed it. While standing there constantly fading in and out of a conscious state, the dwarf slide the armor on me. Seconds went by with nothing happening. I think they dwarf was lieing to m-, the sound of my bone sucked back into place. Made me stop thing for a moment, the amount of pain had finally caught with me. Or as the adrenaline had ran out of my system, the last thing I saw was my wife rushing over. My daughter eyes had opened up before I passed out. The words I heard muffled was " Daddy!",l didn't dream while being asleep. Just nothing but complete darkness. Is this it for me, I died cause of a price of clothing. What a sorry way to die. I thought I would be killed for at least being a Christian, or marrying and having a child with a demon. A bird chirping was the first thing I heard while blinded by the dark. A small light appeared in the darkness, the light spread among the darkness. Trees sprung upon me. That is a beautiful thing to see, watching God's amazing work. I can't name another thing more beautiful than that. I leaned forward, my should was still in excruciating pain. But the pain is bearable. I stood up, knees shaking. I started to walk around the area of where I have been placed at, looking at the spot of where I once layed. Right next to me was my family. I kissed both of them in the forehead before leaving the area, to check up on the others. Walking around the open plains. I've noticed that this is the first time that my wife and child had every seen this, this is a once ina life time experience for them. After serval minutes of walking around I've seen that Eten was practicing her archery skills. She had hit her target twice out of her entire pack of arrows, her percentage is low. She can improve that is a good thing. That can be her purpose right now in this journey. I must have scared her since she dropped her bow after hearing her name called. The dwarf was collecting her arrows, they all rushed towards me with tears coming down. I feel bad for making them worrying so much. They didn't hug me cause of my injury. I gaze to my right to see the merchant with my shield, " did my daughter see his body?!". The mage spoke first. " No!. She was more concerned about her father than anything.". Yeah that was her first time seeing her father in pain, I normally hide the pain away from them. I picked up the merchant, took him about three yards away. Started digging him a grave, placed him inside of the grave. Made another handmade cross, after I filled the grave. I said the same prayer. I did for the Guild leader.
